I think it is more realistic if Tobi does not expect things like Danzo being Hokage (Although this is actually pretty predictable) and that he actually has to modify his plans when stuff happens like Naruto intervening or Eight tails tricking Sasuke. Hmm... but your talking about a guy that is over 100 years old and probably in the top 3 shinobi ever (I'm thinking he, Shodai and Rikudou Sennin) . He hasn't been plotting for this long just to be made a fool. He knows the Uchia well. He knows how shinobi work by now. If he was actually Pain's superior, I'm pretty sure he could've caused as much destruction as Nagato's 6 paths did -- and yet he hasn't. He's planning something even more breathtaking. So, I actually like that his plans not only adapt to mishaps, but actually factored them into the promotion of their success. We need that from this guy. After seeing how powerful a fool like Naruto has become at 16, this guy better be the genius of geniuses. Also, I thought Zetsu splitting in half was pretty bad-ass. I mean, it's not a clone. He's actually 2 shinobi that can share a body or seperate. I would like to see more of his powers as well, Samurai of the North, but he does have some cool ones so far.
