Say what you will abotu DBZ, but at least you trained to get strong and it took some time (loads of time skips ^_^). NARUTO: -Born with Nine tailed Demon fox -_- -Learns shadow clones in five seconds with a scroll even though he failed a weaker move COUNTLESS times. -Thrown of a clif to auto learn summoning -Uses clone hax to learn a better rasengan -Uses clone hax AND Oil hax to learn sage mode SASUKE: -Born an Uchiha. -Sharigan awakens agaist Itachi -Sharigan re-awakens VS haku -gets Orochimaru hax -Itachi hands him a godlike dojutsu Id hoped that the reativly plot device free timeskip would yield a less plot device driven part 2. But nope... Power is handed out on a silver platter.

But as of recent, I cant help but feel he is fixing it. Im kind of neutral. Its made a good comeback but Kishi has to keep it up.

Some of the fillers were iffy but they were entertaining. I was kinda getting annoyed by the constant sasuke in yo face stuff but its gotten alot better.

Aside of my other interests in life, Naruto is my life!! Naruto is basically the only manga/anime that I really, really love... thus, I spend most of my free-time being an obsessed Naruto fan!! :lol:

Essentially, I've been so dissapointed that the bar of my expectations for the series is now so low that I simply no longer really care. Even the stupidity of some of Kishimoto's decisions is not worth getting riled up about anymore. Even the fights have ceased to be at all interesting, and with that gone there's simply nothing left, since the main plot events are really rather easy to predict and generally absurd when they aren't (something that is no longer a surprise). I can tell what's going to happen, I neither like nor particularly care about it or those characters (Naruto and Sasuke both are probably the least interesting members of the cast to me). At this point I'm still reading the manga, but without any zest, postive or negative, it's just something that I'll plod through for about five minutes a week (all the time it really takes to download and read a chapter) in the interest of keeping up with it until the end.

However, I do intend to read the manga chapters in one long continuous session sooner or later. I think since I'm on the outside looking in on this issue, I can positively say I don't actually miss Naruto. In fact, sadly, the only contact I have to anything affiliated to Naruto is this site, and even more depressing I've relegated my postings to sections of LN that doesn't involve Naruto (except for this post of course). And while he was kinda inspiring for a while with his never give up attitude, and I liked it when I thought he was going to be the nobody who rose to the top, but when I pretty much figured out that he was the fourth's son and then it was confirmed, I lost a lot of respect for him. How did it take so long for me to figure it out with all the obvious hints, you ask? I kinda skipped around to just the fights in the anime before actually reading the manga and watching all the episodes so... And the whole child of destiny thing kind of sent me over the top. I never liked it and it just seemed like another way to make Naruto special, like he needed ANOTHER way to do that. Really, at this point I'm sticking around to see how this all ends, who ends up with who, and hopefully which of the two main characters, Naruto or Sasuke, winds up biting the big one at the end. One of 'em damn well better, or I will officially be annoyed. What would completely turn me off of Naruto: a scene that I am really worried about happening, where Naruto gets killed, either to stop the bad guy or to get the kyuubi drained, and someone does the life resurrection thing like on Gaara, only so that no one dies, everyone gives a bit of chakra and says really sappily "I believe in you, Naruto." The smarmy sappy warm fuzzy feelings would just suffocate any lingering interest I would have at that point. In summary, yes and no. It's complicated.
