Seems like it. I had a real fangirl reaction when I read the spoiler, but I'm a little more sane and I've stopped bawling now. It was sweet how Kakashi was being reunited with his father, though I really didn't want him to die. Heh, maybe he's not dead and he's having a dream. Yeah, right... |

Kakashi was a good character and he will be missed. I simply can't wait to see the chapter this week though. We get to see the kyuubi kick Konoha ass with the best detail yet! |

Yo, I predicted Kakashi would have one of those outer body near death experiances. This is toatally it! (I'll be in denial until the funeral.) He'll talk to all the people who died in his life and then wake up in the hospital. If Harry Potter can do it, then so can Kakashi. And apparently, when you die (or about to die) you get to hang out at a camp fire and roast marsh mallows!!! Yay!!! Edited by KKC27, Nov 19 2008, 06:15 PM.

Not shocked at all. It was either his sharingan, or his life. I was betting that he was gonna lose his Sharingan. His death is not as depressing as Jiraiya's. However, he will be missed. I can't wait to read the manga. I still dont think he is dead till I either see him dead, or someone says he is dead. |

I'd like to think that Kakashi is dreaming. You know, like his father has been watching over him all his life, and now that he sees the situation his son is in, he'll communicate with Kakashi through his dream. Because Sakumo died when Kakashi was about 7 years old, in the pic, Kakashi is grown, and he looks pretty beat up, like he just came from fighting. Sakumo asks Kakashi what happened to him, and Kakashi is going to tell him about it, slowly. |

In the one I read it seems like Demon realms head falls off (at least that's what it says). I think due to the damage he took he finally did die or is at least in pieces. In a way Kakashi did take him with him (except Kakashi isn't dead...) because he was the one who ripped pain to pieces with chidori. Here is one I read that has been confirmed. SCRIPT: Obito "I don’t care what people in the village’d say…you’re a great jounin" "I’m about to die…" "Rin will depend on you from now on" Obito … I can only be your eye this far. I also failed to keep the promise to protect Rin. Please forgive me. Obito, Rin, Sensei I am joining you soon. Kakashi is walking in the dark. Kakashi "!" "Kakashi?" Kakashi "So you’re here…" "May I hear what happened to your?" Kakashi "Ah…it’s a long story. Let me tell you slowly" "Ah, alright" Kakashi smiles. Kakashi "Dad" Kakashi’s head faces down. Motionless. I was wondering if Pain can still control parts of the body when they are disconnected. Like shoot demon realms legs at someone, lol. I guess if that part of the body still has chakra recievers than it is possible, but it's just a thought. |

It probably doesn't say why his head falls off. I'm assuming that it was just barely connected when he was trying to finish of chouji and it's just finally fallen off. Kakashi tore up demon realm pretty bad when he used chidori durin chapter 423. |

Oh, wait. Demon realm is the fat one with three faces and all the high tech weapons, not the "main" one, right? I keep getting confused with these stupid things. Right now I'm kind of torn between wanting Kakashi to die and not wanting him to. I want him to die because he's gone through too much for it to be plausible for him to live, but I don't want him to die because Sasuke has broken the chakra barrier/rule multiple times and nothing's happened, it would be stupid for Kakashi to be the one to finally give all his chakra including his life force in a fight and die because of that, and because I really wanted the useless Tsunade to buy it before him, if he had to die. That and like I've said before, this is really, really anti-climatic. Oh, and I thought Kakashi dying at Sasuke's hands would have made for a better fight and a much more ironic death. |

That borders on spam, aarob. Personally, I think it would be more fitting if Kakashi ended up in intensive care for a damn long time, regardless of the healers' skills. He's neither dead nor alive, but what he is, isn't pretty. |

Maybe he'll go into a coma and be trapped in limbo for a long while. I agree that he should be in some intinsive care for at least 2 weeks. It usually takes one week of bed rest for him to recover, but he's never been this drained of chakra. |

If he is comatose, then it would be totally absurd for him to get up even a few months later; comas take years to get out of, if the victim wakes at all. He was laid up for what, a couple weeks last time he was this exhausted (Rescue Gaara arc)? He should be out for at least a month this time. |
