Ok, I am surprised that no one has made a topic about NCIS already. If someone has already, I'm sorry. Anyhow, I recently became a rabid NCIS fan, and I thought it would be a cool topic to bring up here on leafninja. NCIS is hands down my favorite tv show that isn't anime or a cartoon. Just talk about anything NCIS... favorite characters (include why), recent episodes... or older ones... basically anything related to the show. :) To start off, my favorite character is Ziva. Not only is she funny, constantly messing up on English idioms and phrases, but she is a strong and independent person. Ziva is also an amazing fighter, and can pretty much beat anyone in a fight. The actress who plays her, Cote de Pablo is, in my opinion a very good actress. I love all the NCIS characters, but Ziva is my favorite. Also, special agent Kate Todd, who dies in the end of the 2nd season was a favorite of mine too. She was different in character than Ziva, but she was also a strong female character. Also, did anyone see last night's episode Legends (Part 2)? :unsure: It was very intense. I won't spoil it for anyone unless other people post under here saying they saw it. Also, could a mod please change the title so that all the letters are capitalized? I didn't realize that they weren't. |

Dinozzo is my fav character. He is the comic relief and he is a good agent. He is the Sr. field agent, yet he is still capable of accepting criticism; except from Mcgee. |

@Sardaukar- Ok, thanks for clarifying that. I like DiNozzo too. He's funny, but knows when to be serious. I agree, he is a good agent. I love how he always plays pranks on McGee... I like McGee too though. |

By coincidence, I'm watching the episode Marine Down right now. I love this series and have it up as far as Season 4 on DVD. Loads of humour and excellent characters. I can't pick a favourite of of the regular team. It sucks having to wait for Region 2 DVD releases, but this is a series I can withstand reruns of over and over. |

Speaking of waiting for dvds, I really hate how itunes doesn't have the first season. I agree with you too, there is very excellent humor in NCIS. It has the perfect balance of humor, character interactions and crime investigations. I don't like when tv dramas are so serious that they don't include comic relief. The cast of NCIS is great too. They all go well together. I wish I cold be watching NCIS right now too... but I am currently working on part of my history project... heheheh... back to work. |

Yes!... But I haven't seen that one in a long time. I actually saw that one before I became an NCIS freak. My mom got me into the show. It's my goal to see every episode. I got into NCIS around November 2008. Abby is awesome! Infact, I am planning to take forensics my senior year of high school because of Abby. Did you see the episode (I think the episode was called Capitol Offense) with the chocolate cupcake Ziva gave her, and she was trying to figure out who ate it? She was conducting forensics tests and everything! ...It was McGgee in the end. Poor McGee... he was so hungry. |

I'm glad the show seems to have caught on. I started getting into it about 2 months ago, and have been watching constantly ever since. I can't really pick a favorite character as of now, seeing as they have all been given their own great personalities. I do like how it has just enough comedy relief to contrast with the crime scene investigations. On the subject of Ziva and Kate, I originally got into the reruns with Ziva as the main female agent. Then suddenly they switched back to Kate, and I could tell the episodes were older, and I always wondered what had happened to her. Then they showed the episode when she got assassinated. <_< I always assumed she just left the team. |

Yeah, I am glad the show had caught on too. I started watching it with Ziva as the female agent too. Then, the first episode I saw with Kate was the one when she got killed... I saw episodes with her when she was a part of the team afterwards. Also, I think one of the reasons why Ziva is my favorite character is because she reminds me of a friend of mine who not only looks a lot like her, but acts lot like her too. My friend is a lot older than me (used to take care of me when I was 4!), and I may have mentioned her a few times in posts in the "english language" section. She teaches at a language school in New York. I have know her forever, and I consider her my best friend... aside of my twin sister...Got a little off track there. My mom has told her she looks like Ziva, but I don't think she watches NCIS. |

Yay NCIS!!! It's so exciting!! With my sister (whitecrescent1) having just started this thread, I couldn't resist a from posting. Within the past year or so, I have become a pretty big NCIS fan. I love all of the characters so much, and each one brings something special to the show ^_^ I've bought a bunch of episodes on itunes, and I enjoy watching them during study hall whenever I get the chance ^_^ My top favorite character would have to be Special Agent Kate Todd, although I didn't really care much for her at first, and she was not among the characters that I had been initially introduced to upon first seeing the show. As for other favorites, Gibbs and Ziva come in close second. Favorite episode- Bete Noire. Simply amazing. |

I don't think I have a favorite episode yet. I like a lot of them. I like the episode that Ziva gets introduced in, Kill Ari Part 1. I like a lot of the new ones too. So many good episodes... can't decide. Oh and like my sister, I like the episode Bete Noire too. My favorite one with Kate in it. I guess my sister has influenced me into being more of a fan of Kate. |

@ Jashin I think that is the worst problem of the show is the reruns on tv. I have seen each episode over and over so many times it is driving me crazy unless it's one of my favs @ smiley there are several episodes which lead up to Kates death but the main episodes in which she dies is called "Kill Ari" Edited by Sabaku_Kyuu, May 7 2009, 09:10 PM.

Depending on what episodesare on, I change my views on NCIS reruns. There are still a lot of episode which I haven't seen before since I am a newer fan, so I don't mind the reruns much. The only time I do mind is if it is an epidoes that I have seen before and I saw it recently. |

I saw some trailers about this TV show and i'm sad that in my country televisions doesn't include it in their program list, maibe they don't have enough money to buy the license...?! That's too bad. NCIS is a great show. You could always check for it on youtube or some other websites that may have episodes. Some of the older episodes are really hard to find on the computer, but it's worth the searching. |

Well, since i have the curent PC i never buyed any movies, i just saw them online or downloaded from torrents, it's not eficient for me to buy a movie/anime/game or anything else becose i find all stuff i need free. For example: Windows, any version (including Vista) all my friends have them, so i borrow them. None of all my countryman buy CDs with license of anykind (only companies buy license). I think this is one of the reasons that some movies aren't available in my country. Anyway, maibe i will find a torrent to download, i'l try... |

New NCIS tomorrow night!!! Whooo! Well, in the US, there is a new episode at 8pm, be sure to tune in... I'd like to talk about it eventually. (...After seeing episode) For those of you who saw it, what did you think of the new NCIS?? I was worried about DiNozzo when he was attacked. I liked the episode. Yeah, if no one actually posts in the NCIS section after the season finale tonight, somehow, Gibbs is going to come through your computer screen and "Gibbs slap" you all on the backs of your heads so hard it'll give you all concusions(sp?). I have no idea how that will happen... but it will. :) The 7th season of NCIS starts next week on Tuesday so... for any NCIS junkies like myself, grab a Caf-Pow and crowd aaround the tv next Tuesday! Just incase you can't tell... I'm pretty excited!! I wonder what's going to happen with Ziva? She looked pretty beaten up in that clip from the last episode in the 6th season. Because Ziva is my favorite character, I can't help but wonder what is going to happen to her. I don't really have much of a clue as to what will happen on Tuesday aside from the short clip that CBS just showed after tonight's episode. What do you guys think? On a slightly different note, NCIS: Los Angeles is going to premire next Tuesday as well. Even though I know it won't be the same as the original, I think I'll give it a shot. I hope it will be good... but then again, I haven't really seen anything on NCIS I haven't liked. Last year, when NCIS was over, the Mentalist would come on afterwards and because I like that show too, I hope the new NCIS will be a good show to watch after the regular NCIS because now the Mentalist is moving to Thursdays. I was forced to watch this show by the last person I would ever suspect of watching TV, let alone a show like this: my grandmother. I have to thank her for that. It's a great show...awesome cast, awesome characters, awesome plots. There's nothing to dislike about it. |

My mom got me into NCIS... My grandmother got her into NCIS. What's with grandmothers and NCIS?? Well, anyhow, my grandma thinks Gibbs is hot... maybe that has something do do with it...? Hey, did anyone see last night's new NCIS? Well, I did! I thought it was awesome... Of course. I don't want to give anything away but... Spoiler: click to toggle Can't wait for next week's episode. I missed the preview for it last night, so now I really have no idea what to expect.I liked NCIS:Los Angeles too.
