I'm really becoming tired of tagging people's spoilers, which include names.

Tags or a warning, and I'll thank the community not to ignore me this time.

I was also surprised at seeing Oro look a little guilty for Nawaki and Dan, heartwarming!

Episodes was pretty good, I especially like the part where sasuke confronts kabuto and shows him what happened. Liked the flashbacks and a closer insight on why ori wanted the uchiha's legacy. I guess crawling by linkin park is really ori song now he took the risk and ended with nothing. Anyway I guess on the next one sasuke finds some water. So glad to be out of filler city.

Anyone know who the preview announcer was? It sounded like the third, but he's dead.

So? It's the actor doing the preview not the bloody character. <_<

I wouldn't call the animation bad at all, but then again, it isn't quite as good as it can be. What baffles me most about it is how Naruto is treated in general. It is one of the biggest grossing currently on-going animes in the world, or definitely in the top 3. It's the most reputable and highest grossing japanese animation franchise in the United States. There's tons of toys being marketed, and Shonen Jump has a US branch mostly for a handful of extremely popular series, Naruto being chief among them. On top of that, the Naruto video games are actually handled by decent, competent game developers, with a very respectable budget. And yet they somehow can't scrape the dough from under the lining of their freshly pressed suits to animate the damn series properly, or at least consistently! What is with these people? Should the Naruto-fans feel cheated for having to enjoy their favorite series as animated by a bunch of Pacific Rimmers with no sense of fluidity?

You do realize that the Japanese economy for anime is just as screwed up as our own economy, right?

It's not as if they have the money to make it top notch every single time. They work with what they have.

Why not? Bleach and One Piece seem to be able to pull off a fairly consistent quality of animation. Sure, you have those few episodes that stand out for being just sheer awesome, but never but for a sporadic rogue animation glitch can it be called truly bad. It's not like I'm demanding perfection. Just... a little bit of consistency would be nice. I don't like it when I feel like I'm watching a patchwork series.

If they could make an exquisite series like Batman: The Animated Series in the US, the Japanese can make Naruto tick.

I couldn't agree more and I've always wondered that myself. It may not be the #1 anime currently in Japan, but I have to believe that its the number #1 anime worldwide and its probably not even close. About a month ago NPR did a story on it talking about how popular this series is world wide. I sometimes wonder if the animators are stretched thin between animating the series as well as animated all the Naruto movies at the same time

I don't know much about Animation Studio budgets or anything, but I'll venture a guess that Naruto will be viewed/sold even if the animation is crap. I think Bleach/One Piece have different target audiences that don't span as great a number as the Naruto (Japanese) fans. I could be completely wrong, seeing as how I dunno anything about them.

I have yet to view the actual episode (waiting until next week), but I looked under the Akatsuki section...

Who in the world designed Orochimaru's cloak. The clouds... they're horrible. None of them are in the right places, and they even had a reference to go by during this in the manga! Sigh. As an artist myself, I am very disappointed.

That would be Shikamaru; he spent two hours compiling six angles into a single image.

Ah. Well... I'll have to see for myself next week whether or not it's the anime's fault or Shikamaru's, then. Shikamaru's would be understandable, though. No excuse for the anime.

Finally the long awaited review: On Second thought realistically it is a 9/10
-Everything about this episode was perfection except animation at some parts
-Actual useful GOOD Filler was a humungous surprise
-Naruto deserves to die if poor Nawaki did just for being head-strong.
I mean how many times has Naruto charge head first into a situation without thinking and got away with it but after all this series is called "Naruto"
-Oh really the necklace is going to land right in front of Oro....yeah that's plausible. <_<
-Loved how Oro was good but had a realistic view of death especially in war unlike any other character in Naruto.
"OMG we are at freaking war and my friend/brother/lover died. Why God Why/How could this happen!"
Ummm....maybe because your at war and that's one of the things that happens during it....
-He would have been my favorite character if he didn't turn bad just because of his outlook on life and death
-If only Anko wasn't a female......she would be awesome if she was a male considering Oro was her sensei and got taught stuff he knew.
-The part that freaking made this episode the second best Shippuden episode.....Little Itachi! Awwww!
-BTW also the best filler "baggage" in anything period.
-I wish Kishi explained where all this forbidden jutsu in the library came from or how it got created
-The one thing that took the perfect score away of course is Sasuke and Uchihax and how easy it was to take care of Oro.
-I on the other hand loved the new horror movie-esque music but still Shippuden music doesn't touch Part 1 music. (I don't care if you disagree Twilight I already know but it's still the truth)
-CS2 Sasuke is a lame and so is Oro "true form" and that also took away from the episode's greatness
-Liked how it showed all his old bodies in the "rebirth" dimension though I would still like to know his first body that has his face mostly covered.
-Loved how Itachi is pretty much glorified since he is my favorite character and....
Spoiler: click to toggle

-Didn't like how Kabuto looked like such a scared b***h.
-2nd best part is the Konoha sunset part. I hope the rest of part 2 takes this tone. I loved how it looked along with the music but don't think dorky Naruto was really needed it killed the mood and the tone set by that scene.
-Not sure how I feel about these hidden messages or whether I like them or not. (Weasel, Snakes, Hawks)
-Can someone explain the hidden message behind the shooting star, I didn't really get that one though. :(
-Overall my second favorite Shippuden episode next to Shippuden episode 14-15 (I know....they're really two episode's but whatever)
On to my high-points!:
Poor Nawaki you would have lived if the series would have been called "Nawaki" because the main character can be as much of an idiot as he wants to and still live <_<
Spoiler: click to toggle

This is why Tsunade is a dumb broad.
Spoiler: click to toggle

Chibi Itachi FTW! Sasuke will never surpass or beat you because he is a loser that never actually earned any of his powers like you!
Spoiler: click to toggle

This is why the ladies love ORO! ;)
Spoiler: click to toggle

Duh Kabuto haven't you ever played Resident Evil?! Everyone knows you have to mix green+red!
Spoiler: click to toggle

Spoiler: click to toggle

Spoiler: click to toggle

Sasuke really needs to lay off the 4x4 with animal style fries! Holy crap!
Spoiler: click to toggle

In closing this episode would have been a 100/10 had it not been for the appearance of Sasu-(you know the rest)

Just to let you know, I don't disagree about part 1 music being better.

What I disagree on is when people make the Shippuden music out to be garbage when it's pretty decent.

Also, that's a bit of a heartless outlook. Regardless of war, people are gonna feel sad when those they love and care about die. Just because it's something that could easily come about doesn't make it any less of a loss.

I'm in the military, what do you expect....though the true reality is a human life truly isn't worth that much. Every thing Oro said is true. Emotions only weaken humans. I mean tons of people die every day and what happens....life goes on. But on the bright side many more are born into this world every day.

If it hasn't been animated yet, it's a spoiler, as the forum description makes painfully clear.

It could be due to my faith, but I view human life as precious and valuable.

But anyway, in case I haven't mentioned it yet, I have mixed feelings of the revelation of the Akatsuki Leader's face.

He's one of my favorite Akatsuki, but they really should have saved it for a more epic time.

They have showed that person and his face (just not up close) before in the Hidan Kakuzu Arc.

Lunacy Divine already pointed out that calling him Akatsuki Leader isn't a spoiler.

And I meant for a first clear view, but I didn't really specify that.

Well, I'm sure anime only watchers have a good idea he's the leader.

A leader is simply one who commands and directs the rest of the group, and that's exactly what AL does. Whether or not he's merely an "announcer" is irrelevant considering that he's still the acting leader of Akatsuki. To call him the "Akatsuki leader" is by no means a spoiler.

I hardly saw the guy with orange hair and piercings (COUGH) command and direct the rest of the group but I don't feel like arguing this since I don't care much for spoilers so whatever. If you are on a Naruto forum and you are strictly a anime watcher you deserve to be spoiled and that's my view on that.

Apparently saying "Here is our new member means you are the leader"

SO next time I say here is our brand new troop to our squadron. I hope someone thinks I am a commander or 3-star general of LosAngeles AFB if everyone has the mindset of people on this forum.
