Opening since we now have confirmed pics and text spoilers out.
Zetsu splits, Gaara returns, and we get a preview of the second art book which is going to feature the Jinchuuriki and their Bijuu. Appears that we get a preview of the Seven Tails Jinchuuriki and her bug Bijuu.

Seems like Sasuke is made a fool by Tobi when Sasuke tries to attack him recklessly and just goes through him.

IMO it would be better if Tobi/Madara is not portrayed like Aizen, where every single "setback" is actually part of the plan. I think it is more realistic if Tobi does not expect things like Danzo being Hokage (Although this is actually pretty predictable) and that he actually has to modify his plans when stuff happens like Naruto intervening or Eight tails tricking Sasuke.

Hahaha Well spotted. But it's more like things that go wrong seem to be for the better. Like Pain's and Sasuke's failure brought forth the summit. Zetsu mentioned before that he didn't expect so many to die. I don't think Madara also expected it. Hence why he may need new members for the statue jutsu.

Yeah I guess you are right. I guess Tobi is just an optimist and sees the positive things out of all the negative things that happen: as you pointed out with those two examples.

Sasuke : Danzou ...
Tobi : One of thoses elders who blackmailed your brother.
Then we see Naruto ...
Karui/Omoi = We'll avenge our master, spit out intelligence about Sasuke !
Naruto feels sympathy about them because they lost their master.
Naruto : Your master is a Jinchuuriki ? I'm a Jinchuuriki myself and
I'd like to help you save him.
Let's search for him together. We'll deal with Sasuke later, okay ?
Tell everything you know about Akatsuki.

Then we get back to Sasuke.

I have to agree. Things seem to be heating up but I really wished we couldve seen zetsu do something cooler than split in half.....

Hmm... but your talking about a guy that is over 100 years old and probably in the top 3 shinobi ever (I'm thinking he, Shodai and Rikudou Sennin) . He hasn't been plotting for this long just to be made a fool. He knows the Uchia well. He knows how shinobi work by now. If he was actually Pain's superior, I'm pretty sure he could've caused as much destruction as Nagato's 6 paths did -- and yet he hasn't. He's planning something even more breathtaking. So, I actually like that his plans not only adapt to mishaps, but actually factored them into the promotion of their success. We need that from this guy. After seeing how powerful a fool like Naruto has become at 16, this guy better be the genius of geniuses.
Also, I thought Zetsu splitting in half was pretty bad-ass. I mean, it's not a clone. He's actually 2 shinobi that can share a body or seperate. I would like to see more of his powers as well, Samurai of the North, but he does have some cool ones so far.

Wait Naruto opts to go after Killer Bee and not Sasuke? What happened Kishi, hit your head? Typical though the one time he chooses not to go after Sasuke will come back to haunt him.

This chapter sounds good. Why is it every time they reappear, The Sand trio have new clothes? They're making the other characters look lazy. The Nanabi looks awesome.

They continue talking about Hachibi before moving onto Konoha. Tobi fills Sasuke in on the recent events and such.Tobi then says it's thanks to Sasuke and Pain that the Five Kage Summit is coming. Zetsu appears and tells Tobi that Danzou's Hokage now. Tobi taunts Sasuke with that.
Scene change to Naruto & co.
Omoi and Karui demands that Naruto tells what he knows about Sasuke. Naruto uses his infamous secret unnamed jutsu to convince them to cooperate to rescue Hachibi and stuff.
Back to Sasuke
"IMMA KILL THE HOKAGE AT THE SUMMIT"
Tobi has a psuedo-monologue with Zetsu about his evil evil plans. At the end he says "EXECUTE THE EYE OF THE MOON PLAN"
Scene change to Suna, and Gaara
Gaara is heading to the Summit and tells Kankuro that he ain't need no escort.

Typical Kishi:

The really cool part was Kankuro telling he isn't Gaara's bodyguard, and Zetsu splitting up in half (Okey that was creepy)

The 7th-tails Jinchuruki seems like it's a girl and a hot one at that. :wub:
Zetsu says that Naruto may be stronger than Sasuke considering he beated Pain. But we know Naruto had lots of help in it so it could be the other way round. Since Zetsu still said he may be stronger than that means that even though he did manage to beat Pain with no help atall it's still possible hes weaker than Sasuke.
Great chapter! Even though i wonder how all of that will fit in Kishi's usual 19-pages.

For Sasuke to succeed in killing the Hokage. Kishimoto is going to make a FOOL of allot of people. including Kakashi, Neji, Gaara, the other Hokages, there body guards, anbu, root.........list goes on.

Probably because Sasuke doesn't trust Madara, So he didn't inform him of his plans. Or it could have been that the Hachibi mission was the only one Sasuke plan to do.

Why not? Sasuke kicking Kakashi's butt while Naruto is away, makes perfect sense to me but this isn't the prediction thread. Loving the Kumo-Konoha colour spread. Looks like we'll be stuck with this lot for a while and that's fine with me.

If Pain succeded in destroying Konoha before Naruto came and Tobi and Zetsu consider Sasuke around Pain's level i don't see why he can't.

Sorry but you can't compare Susake to Pain. Sasue don't have 5 s-rank ninjas beside him. And from the spoiler Madara said he have the potential, and more than likely he's talking with EMS. But i still don't see Sasuke been more powerful than Nagato. Im not going to get into it but seriously NO.
@ryukitsune im almost positive Sasuke said out loud he's going to Konoha.

im almost positive Sasuke said out loud he's going to Konoha.
Sasuke did say that he was gonna destroy Konoha to Madara before, But he didn't inform Madara that they were leaving Akatsuki or so soon.

Well, after Naruto managed to beat Pain, which for what Akatsuki knows he did it alone with no help, Zetsu said that Naruto may be stronger than Sasuke.
Thats if he doesn't know he had tons of help, but since they think he had none and that he said may indicates that even though Naruto beated Pain with no help atall it's still not certain that he's stronger than Sasuke which means Sasuke is around Pains level and like Madara said if he gets EMS he would completely surpass Pain.

At this point in time, Sasuke has become nothing more than a rampaging fool. Considering the character depth Itachi had, this is disappointing. Sasuke seems like a clone of Nagato.
Pretty convenient setup Kishi has made for Naruto to be out of the village when Sasuke and his group attack the summit.

So Sakura is crying, Naruto with just one sentence has changed their minds like that, Gaara is back in the picture for the summit (aaaaand because Kishi didn't have the nads to give him a good and proper death way back when) and Sasuke gets his worf moment.
That basically the gist of what's going on here?
