Yay another chapter animated, too bad it's not a very interesting chapter. Decent animation though but the most interesting part is the fact they changed the intro in a way which suggests we won't be going back to fillers for the better part of a year.

Great episode. 9/10. about near 90% was canon. "But Sasuke you have a sword too." lol I didn't like Karin new theme, but whatever. when he said "that woman" you know (cus of softsubs) he wanted to say "that b****" Juugo voice sound a little weird, though he is in a crazy state of mind. dame seaguls. The change in the intro was a nice touch, this episode wasn't bad at all. I think the animation could have been better, IMO. I am really looking forward to the next episode more. This chapter gets 7/10 from me. |

A wild Karin appears! The visuals often fluctuated from okay to mediocre. Both the artwork and animation had a tendency to be alright in a few places while very awkward-looking in others. Granted, considering last week's greatness in that department, I wasn't expecting this one to be in the same boat. Regarding the actual plot, some extra stuff in this episode was incorporated to offer a deeper explanation for Karin's fondness of Sasuke, namely a flashback of their first encounter and how they cooperated so well in terms of catching the escaped jailers. She's also given a more sinister touch than originally shown when Sasuke and Suigetsu discover she had a few prisoners killed for babbling about the rumors of Orochimaru's death. It was only stated in the manga that she was responsible for maintaining order at the hideout, but Pierrot takes this sufficiently further. They have an awesome method of conveying these things much deeper in the anime's continuity. If only the animation team didn't make the episode look so... awkward in places, especially when Sasuke's group makes their departure at the end. Overall, the episode was decent. Like last week with Suigetsu, Pierrot once again provides filler to emphasize Karin's character and her relationship with Sasuke far more than what Kishimoto has done in the original manga, and I'm loving it. The "one team member per episode" implementation really does work out much better than one would think. I feel the shoddy art/animation assuredly halted this one's potential and I disliked the way said visuals portrayed some of these scenes, but everything else here was good. 7/10. Also, I'll be sure to never watch another omake in this series again. |

The Omake do vary greatly most of them suck but every once in a while a real funny one appears. Sadly they're on the downturn or maybe that's a good sign seeing it means they're spending more time on the actual content of the episode.

Okey, The omake was the worst thing ever. It was like a last minute buffer, the only thing worse then that was the last episode of EotE. (irony much?) I liked Karin's two-tone voice, let's us know when she is on b**** mode, and when she is on **** mode...And we get a glimpse of "that time", which is a bit different from what Kishi had us believe. And I don't recall Karin having smelling powers. Sasuke killing that guy for Karin was pathetic, totally nullifies his "I just have one man to kill" theme. Tak's seiyuu was "Ryōhei Kimura". Anybody the name of Suigetsu' seiyuu? I bet you its the same guy, the similarity is striking. Oh and since people were asking, we last heard the cowboy theme in the second Naruto Shippuden movie, as sasuke's theme. Edited by ryz, Jul 2 2009, 01:30 PM.

My Review: -Background animation was perfect. (sunset) Sasuke and Suigetsu were badly animated at some points. Zabuza's sword looked more like a toy at some points also. Sasuke looked like a kid again even at some points. -Heard the cowboy theme this time. Sasuke the Cowboy is back! -LMAO at Karin's legs fidgeting! -Didn't mind the filler again since it was useful to the story (Showed when she got her attraction and her powers) -Sai would wear a speedo wouldn't he. -Tsunade wore WHAT! -Omake was awesome! Might Guy, the studio executive. :lol: Poor Kakashi, He needs a legit pairing! On to the high-points: 1 count of sexual assault. Suspect found not guilty! Well the ep suck the animation suck even more except for the part were seugetsu goes to free the inmates. I like the the fileers they added karin meeting sasuke karin way of keep rumors out of her prison. Typical guy girl dislike between karin and seugetsu didn't like her sexy voice like that they showed us jugo at the end am pretty sure the next ep will be interesting compared to two 115 and this one. 3/10 |

This was a pretty nice ep basically falls in line with what happened... Karin is freaky around Sasuke she likes the smell of his chakra, LOL, thats new... She's just a total fangirl... I'm waiting to see Jugo, it looks like things should start to pick up from there... 8/10 |

Well i gave the chapter a 7 out of 10 because the Animation was not to bad, better then most. We got to see how Sasuke met Karin, i love how she acts with Siugetsu (Pardon my spelling), we have finally seen a better sense of there pesonallity with voices (instead of words), and finally a new member of team Hawk. Cant wait for next weeks episode for Jugo to join Hawk. Not to mention him using the curse mark. And btw Sasuke fillers or what ever we call them are sometimes better then Naruto's, it might be because we see Naruto to much. |

A decent episode. I forgot at times what show I was watching, What with the sounds Karin was making. I also notice that Sasuke can really manipulate the women. Among other things, His comment about wanting Karin as his eyes remained me of how Light manipulated Misa in Death Note. The Omake was weird, But I did like the new ending. Especially liked Sakura and Gaara, So funny. The one thing I don't get is why not fully change the opening? It's not like the Konoha 11 get much air time this arc. |
