very good episode. it seems like everyone from Kishi to the animators care about getting Sauske's arc right. Even the filler within it feels perfect. Now if they only cared so much about the main character...... |

Well, time for my review. This episode reminded me why I think SasuKarin is so cute. :wub: :P Loved the filler stuff and how it helped flesh out Karin's character more like with Suigetsu. Speaking of which, hilarious stuff with her and Suigetsu. :lol: Looking forward to the next episode. 10/10. |

Lol, I can't believe Gaara was wearing a "onesie" in the closing credits! Really?! Anyway, I liked it. I actually like Karin's behavior now that its animated. I didn't have a lot of respect for her in the manga, but she's kinda growing on me now. I wish the fighting could be better animated but other than that, this episode was decent. 7/10. |

Again, not bad. 1. Anyone else reminded of Cowboy Beebop with that music that starts when we first see the island..and when they started leaving? 2. Even though it’s canon, I still hated the whole walking across the ocean thing; it always seemed like a cheat of some sort to me. 3. Is it me or does Karin sound like a deeper-voiced Sakura. 4. Look everybody, it’s Team 7 all over again! Seriously, Suigetsu’s the Naruto, Karin’s the Sakura, and Sasuke’s the…Sasuke. 5. Killing people for spreading rumors of hope…harsh. 6. What’s with the “bring peace and tranquility to the world” line? 7. Whoa; was anyone else shocked at 12:10? Looks like her hair is indeed symbolic; it’s like she’s two personalities. 8. “Hiding at 1:30”? Either that’s a translation error or Karin doesn’t know how this little system works; it’s either 1 o’clock or 6 o’clock. 9. What a dumb omake… See y’all in two weeks. Peace out. |

I liked it. It's no secret Karin is among my favourite characters, but that's irrelevant since the anime actually made me give a damn about Suigetsu where the manga didn't. So, plus points: Karin's voices. It gives me flashbacks to Megumi Hayashibara's portrayal of Lina Inverse from Slayers when she switches from dominant and authorative to cute and cuddly, just in reverse. The thing that impressed me the most is how she's actually made to look dangerous with the shallow graves and the way she oversaw the burials. Up until now she's been portrayed as nothing more than a divining rod for chakra, so it's nice to see her being given a little bite. Spoiler: click to toggle On the downside, some parts of the animation were off, but those were few and far between. The seagull will never replace the hawk no matter how hard he tries to impact the scene in a dramatic manner. Seagull is not a meme. With the new intro, ending and more new miusic, I like what the anime has to offer. A nice 8. |

Once again i liked the filler parts. They really do what they're supposed to do nicely. Fill out. Glad to see the anime giving out one of her abilities up front. Pretty ok episode. No outward ratings for this one. |

well this whole sasuke arc is very important to the series I also wish that the 2 tailed jinchuuriki had a longer fight both the manga & anime made her look weak i dont agree too much about the last statement but I can understand what you are saying Edited by Degrees, Jul 3 2009, 06:23 AM.

Fixed it. please try to make your posts more comprehensible, you sound like a hillbilly, and I apologize in advance if I hit the nail on the head there. Anyways, good episode. This Sasuke arc is very refreshing after the torturous three tail arc, and its nice to see these characters finally animated. I'm seems the next episode is going to cover three chapters at once, seeing how far the preview goes. It makes since, Juugo had a few more chapters then Suigetsu and Karin, so no needless filler for him. I'm looking forward to next week. |

Wow, there are people with sharp eyes out there. Apparently the episode ending is a shipping shout-out. Reading on various forums, apparently, Sakura writes "Sakura+Sasuke" on the sand, and she holds the "Sasuke" side of the cola; similarly, Hinata wears orange and is shown holding the "Naruto" side of the cola. I didn't notice either of this (except Hinata wearing Orange), did you? |

So karin is bipolar and she has twitchy leg syndrome....what was the deal with the seagulls flying past sasuke head. Like the opening change and the ending credits were okay. Can't see what the shipping was about tried several times on the writing couldn't catch anything and it looked like sakura picked up the can with narutotonic on it so moving on. The omake was weird, feel for k-man being told your a hedgehog perv would do anyone in. 7/10 |

Wtf is it with the internal shipping and constant double entendres in this episode? The animators had a field day with this one... Overall it was okay; the water-stationed base gave an appeal to the prison. I'm also liking Suigetsu a lot more than his manga incarnate; he feels more interesting and lively. Overall, it was an okay episode, minus the Karin-Sasuke bit that seemed too fanservicy. |

I liked the changes made to the opening. In particular I liked the scene where Sasuke draws his sword on Orochimaru, thus turning on him. The look on Orochimaru's face was priceless. The addition of Sasuke's new teammates throughout the opening was also very nice. I thought the new ending was ok. I liked the song that they used but I wasn't so fond of the animation. This isn't the first time we have seen characters from the show in bathing suits. I remember in part one there was an ending that had characters in bathing suits at the beach. Although I believe it only consisted of a few of the female characters. I enjoyed getting to hear Karin's different voices whenever her personality changed. You can tell there is a big difference between them as she usually sounds so mean and serious, yet when drooling over Sasuke she has a sweet sounding voice. I also liked how we got to see a bit of her meaner side by putting prisoners who spoke of Orochimaru's demise to death. That was a good filler addition. The flashback with Sasuke and Karin was a good touch. It helped show off Karin's abilities and why Sasuke was so dead set on asking her to become a member of his team. This flashback also shows us why Karin has such an infatuation with Sasuke. I did find it a bit out of place for Sasuke to have killed that prisoner though because they are trying to display it as he doesn't want to kill anyone but Itachi. The animators probably should have had Sasuke disarm him instead of killing him. The scenes after the ending credits were rather dumb and pointless. I remember when they at least used to give us some useful information about characters and organizations but now they just have characters acting like a bunch of fools. I consider this to be a waste of time. Overall I found this episode fun to watch. The interaction between Karin and Suigetsu is always interesting to watch. I'll give the episode a 9. |

karin was funny in the manga... i can't wait to see the anime's interpretation of *snip*... juugo is my least favourite character...so next episode might be only slightly awesome... lol

I liked this episode alot. Karin seems to be a better character when animated. I love the cowboy beebop feel at the beginning. It always makes me smile a bit. Anyway I wish they could find a good credits song and animation. Although Tsunade looked good in her suit. |
