Is Iruka black?

Hardly; Iruka doesn't look to be of African descent to me.

i thought he meant back...how would you think he's black?

well he has dark skin tone

darker than most of the characters in naruto so i thought he was black

its just a tan. although it would be nice i guess to see some cultural diversity in this. and by that i don't mean another group of 'hidden' sharingan users that have blue sharingan and can totally defeat madara deus ex machina style.

Is Iruka black?

Not likely. I seriously doubt Kishimoto is racially equal-opportunistic enough to allow other races other than his own in his manga.

Actually, the humans in Naruto technically aren't Asian either even though the ethnology in general is taken from Japanese culture.

There are a few variations. Sasuke has a fairly pale skin tone while Naruto's is roughly average. Characters such as Kisame, Zetsu, Orochimaru, and Kakuzu on the other hand all have considerably abnormal skin tones. The ethnicity in the Narutoverse mostly includes clans or villages; the term "race" doesn't really hold a substantial value thus far. Basically, the series is comprised of (commonly) white-skinned people who possess a fairly large variety of hair and eye colors with a language, writing, and culture based on that of Japan, even though said country doesn't exist in the manga (subsequently meaning that they're technically not Asian either). Call them "Narutians", if you will.

Lately, people have been telling me that the myth of Kyuubi was fake and that there was more to it and such and such/. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.

The myth does exist. The original nine tailed fox myth exists in both Japan and China. It's basically a magical fox who transforms into a beautiful woman, seduces a man for whatever purpose (I'm doing this by memory) and either dies or goes away. Every thousand years or so, it continues to do this and grows a tail each time till there's nine. whatever happens when the ninth tail is grown is beyond me at this point. I'd prefer to encourage you to look for yourself.

Use your own common sense to answer that.

I'm pretty sure that even you should have been able to guess he means Rinnegan.

Quite simply, we don't know. The best guess would be that it allows a hive mind effect among those who possess it, limited to six bearers. Other than that, unknown.

Kakuzu just has a dark skin tone. Its similar to Kidoumaru's. Nothing abnormal there.

The individual myths of the Kyuubi amongst other Bijuu that have appeared in the series aren't fake, but the 'Legend of the Tailed Beasts' is simply nothing more than fanon if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, he eats it, imbues chakra in the clay, spits it out and sculpts it to what he wants.

Did Jiraiya ever do something with Itachi's black fire that he sealed up?

Yes he did, he sealed it. Amaterasu's fire burns whatever it touches (and will not go out) till there's no more to burn or goes out in seven days. He sealed it so that it wouldn't spread and cause damage to the general populace.

Argh, just noticed this. Here.

http://community.livejournal.com/yokaimonsters/57605.html

To summarise: SOME of the monsters are "real", others were taken entirely out of context to fit in with some BS fanfic and now thousands of NarutoFan members are misinformed and spreading the garbage through wiki and all the clones of it.
