What jutsu was Sasuke going to perform before Orochimaru stopped him in Shippuden #53?

Kirin. He'd blasted the base apart so the lightning would be able to strike them.

"maru" only comes at the ends of boys names. So yes, he is a man.

Is Iruka black?

Hardly; Iruka doesn't look to be of African descent to me.

i thought he meant back...how would you think he's black?

well he has dark skin tone

darker than most of the characters in naruto so i thought he was black

its just a tan. although it would be nice i guess to see some cultural diversity in this. and by that i don't mean another group of 'hidden' sharingan users that have blue sharingan and can totally defeat madara deus ex machina style.

no he's japanese lol

Is it possible for a shinobi to increase their chakra supply?

This is a hard one to answer. The easiest way to measure someone's overall chakra capacity is how many times a day they can use a certain jutsu that takes a fixed amount of chakra. For example, Kakashi and Sasuke's limited shots of Chidori. However, over time, they exceeded their known limits. This could be for two reasons, though. One is that thet can increase their own chakra pool, the other is refining their technique to be more fuel-efficient, so to speak. Ultimately, someone's chakra runs out when Kishimoto wants to add drama and needs a way to break the rules (Sasuke using his cursed seal during the fight with Gaara to bring out the third Chidori, for example). There's no sure way to know.

Not really that we now of, all we know is that from what we have seen is some sound-nins can control sound waves.

Dosu was the only one who showed that ability. He also had the speaker implanted into his arm which may have helped that.

Right and that is the only reference to sound that we have seen the sound nins use except for maybe Kin and Tayuya's sound genjustsu, right?

All the uses of it in the series I can recall were Dosu cheating in the exams by guessing what was being written through the sound of the pencil of the guy in front of him, the obvious supersonic attacks he made on Kabuto before that, then on Lee and Chouji. Kin used bells for genjutsu (as I recall, the anime added something to that part) and finally, Tayuya's flute. Ironically, Orochimaru used none himself, though the Hidden Sound village was mostly just made up expressly for the use of gathering followers for his invasion. Most of his other projects were simply labeled as bases depending on their location, since the last person to even wear a sound forehead protector was Kidoumaru.

Where the sound troops during the invasion actually ninja? Or where they just people Orochimaru found and taught basic ninja skills to?

Apparently they were ninja; they had headbands and knew some things about ninja techinques. It seemed like they were all at Chuunin level at least.

Edit: bucks corrected me.

Oh and what does teme, dobe, and baka mean? I think it's something like jerk, loser, and stupid, but I might be wrong.

If you can tell people that, Hanzo, you can answer their questions.

  • -chan: Usually for female younger than yourself that you are informally associated with.
  • -kun: Male equivalent of -chan.
  • -nii-san: Elder brother.
  • -nee-san: Elder sister
  • -ototo: Younger brother
  • -imoto: Younger sister
  • -sama: Someone greatly respected.
  • -san: General formal, equivalent to Mr, Mrs, or Ms.
  • -sensei: Educated professional like teacher, professor, doctor, etc.

Shonen, Shojo, Seinen and Josei are used to describe the genre or demographic a manga is aimed at. Naruto is Shonen, aimed at the kids to teen male audience. Seinen is for male teenagers and up. Shojo is the female equivalent to Shonen, while Josei is the female equivalent of Seinen.
