That's true. There's also the numbers with the prefix of "dai-" in them. Which means an order also (Daisan - Third). But maybe it's still because it's refering to a person or something,i'm not that good with japanese terms such as these.

I kind of understood the FIRST and ONE part

but the thing that confused me was that NI-bi and NI-daime have the same prefix even though Nibi means two tails and nidaime means second

im just pointing it out

oh.. sorry guys i didnt read the part that said sho- meant founder, sorry

Ni - Two
Nidaime - Second
The suffix -daime makes it an order thing I suppose. You should ask Nezz,or someone else who's good with japanese terminology.

I think it is like:
ichi - one sho - first
ni - two ni - second
san - three ---
shi - four yon - fourth
roku - six ---
nana - seven shichi - seventh
hachi - eight ---
kyu - nine ku - ninth
ju - ten ---
?

Everything after Juu would be Juuichi,Juuni,Juusan, because it would saying ten-one,ten-two,ten-three. In short it would be 11,12,13,etc. For the rest it would be the number+juu+number. Nijuu(20) 24 would be Nijuuyon, same for the rest. Sanjuu,Shijuu,...and you forgot 5 (go).

Also,Yon and Shi both mean 4. It's just a way of putting them into the sentence. Daiyon would be fourth,so would Yondaime. I'm not sure about Shi though.

Something i didn't notice until now,
The numbers are reverse.
Like this:
Daisan - Third
Sandaime - Third
Sandai reversed would be Daisan

Also,Yon and Shi both mean 4. It's just a way of putting them into the sentence. Daiyon would be fourth,so would Yondaime. I'm not sure about Shi though.

I think that shi could also mean death, and thatīs why it isnīt used, but iīm not so sure. Thatīs why the number 4 is something like the number 13 in the "western world". But there are few situations thre you have to use shi instead of yon, (or at least one^^), for example shigatsu which means forth month (April). And if you are just counting numbers while doing sport or something you also say shi, I thought. Anyway, shi is the chinese way to read this kanji and yon the Japanese. Was this right??
Okay, I think it has nothing to do with the topic, anyway.

It's within this topic. Death is Shini. Which can also mean "42". The number 42 is a death omen in some cultures.

About the Shouten no Jutsu (Shape Changing Technique) do the people who are used as the "host" always die? Or did they die because Naruto and all them killed them and that caused them to revert back to their original forms?

I was wondering if anyone knew the episode number in which the ninja(not sure which but i believe its sasuke) uses the nin-wire by biteing it and pulling out from it. I think the nin-wire was on a spool/ring.

If someone knows, please let me know.

Uhhh...I think around 28 or 29. It was a FoD scene where Sasuke was fighting Oro.

I know that he used it then and that he also used it against the Sound Four.....I'm looking for the exact scene where he is biting the spool and pulling it away. It might be another Shinobi and not Sasuke that did it. I'm just trying to prove to my friend that the Nin-Wire is stored on the Ring/Spool.

I think that was Temari who did when Sasuke was closing up on them(the sand nin) she said: Leave him to me and then she grinned and pulled the stool with the wire....or maybe im just confused

No Ozaki, you aren't confused. It was Temari, specifically at episode 71 at 01:53 into the episode...

@gaara_iz_da_kewlest:
Chiriku was said to have a bounty of 3 million according to chapter 314 page 08...
Asuma said that his bounty is 5 million more than Chiriku's, according to chapter 320 page 09...
So, Asuma's bounty is 8 million...

This didn't warrant a topic,so i'll put it here.

Are fire element techniques actual fire,or just fire like chakra? I ask this because whenever someone is hit with a fire technique it's never a big deal. Sometimes they don't even take notice of it. And yet they act as if they're all gonna die when they get burned by a flame (like from a stove or something). The only time we've seen some major damage done from a fire technique is when Sasuke used Katon:Ryuuka on Orochimaru...and i'm thinking that was just some acting on his part. He may not have even felt it because of the Shoushagan (face stealing technique) he used to make himself look like the grass nin.
