Naruto Shippuden will be shown on Disney XD starting next month. Not sure if that's good or bad, considering that Shippuden is a little more adult. I'd like to see how they are gonna handle the language and some of the other scenes that are kin d of adult. I am glad to have it on tv though. Edited by narutofan85, Sep 10 2009, 04:10 PM.

I just hope disney doesn't play games with it, I would be pissed.

Seeing as things degrade over the years, i'm thinking that Disney picks up more anime after Naruto gets a lot of views, then it switches to what cartoon network used to be and then to what cartoon network is trying to become. It may as well happen within 20 years or so. So, i'm kind of predicting a trend here. But over all things, good to see Naruto come back to the television once again. Ha!

Disney took over Jetix and kept the brand name for a while, eventually transforming it into DisneyXD. Since Disney are publishers and distributors, they have the license to show other TV shows on channels they own, but not to play with the rights as they see fit. Despite owning the rights to all of Marvel's property now, Disney are going to sit back and let the companies do what they do while enjoying a cut of the profits. It's smart business. Also, I get DisneyXD in the UK, Jetix recently changed name. If you want, I'll keep an eye out for schedules and release dates for whatever.

I doubt Viz will do some heavy editing on the dub, by judging from their job on part 1. If any changes happen, it'll be due to the network. If only Toonanami hadn't been hacked off.... Oh, well, maybe I'm just being pessimistic about it...
