This was a really good episode. A lot of the fight was covered and it was awesome finally seeing the Chou Odama Rasengan animated. Goemon caught me by surprise though, I didn't think it would be boiling oil, from the manga I took it as a sea of hot flames. |

This was a real page turner. It seemed like Jirayia was going to win and then BOOM he looses his arm and the other Pains show up. The Toad song made my ears bleed because it just sounded bad. I get why Ma Toad didn't want to sing. I feel sorry for Jirayia because things were going so well. That god music when all 6 Pains appeared was really badass. Next week it looks like things are going to get worse for Jirayia.

Great episode, so far the entire fight has been well animated. I've enjoyed it very much. I especially enjoyed how the 3 pains caught in the Genjutsu was animated. Sadly, when I'm enjoying the action, BAM!! they leave me hanging and i have to wait another week. That really sucks!! Ma and Pa, love those two i just can't get enough when they go off on each other and J-man is caught in the middle. LOL! Omake wasn't that great. |

It seems Jiraiya is going to sacrifice himself for whatever cause he will come up with. I hope it's something more than just making Naruto feel motivated more than usual. But losing an arm... It was a surprise. For a moment I couldn't believe my eyes. It's not something you see often in Naruto, and it looked so natural that I almost felt Jiraiya's pain. I can only guess what power the new body has. Cast-insides-out-no-jutsu? |

Ehh, the animation team was just okay and at times underwhelming. Their previous episode (124) had pretty good artwork, but it seems Jiraiya's Sage Mode had a tendency to sometimes appear tasteless and off-model in this one; relatively bad animation, too. Otherwise everything else was pretty good, nice action scenes and fantastic pacing as usual. Jiraiya losing an arm was one hell of an impacting scene. Overall, decent episode. 7/10. |

Started nicely ended nicely. Straight to the books. Loved the animation and sound of each jutsu performed. They really got it good. Especially the close ranged rasengan. We can see now why it was termed close ranged. Everything was seen clearly in that attack as Pain sucked it in. So far, they're doing this arc nicely. Loved the six Pain look in the end. Art work was good in that part. |

I quite liked this episode. Jiraiya's face was a little off at times but I had no major issue with animation, but it certainly wasn't as good as last weeks. The actions sequences were done very well and I liked the pacing once again. 9/10. |

I liked this episode a lot, as others mentioned the animation was off at some points during the episode. I don't think we need the same flashback over and over again. The episode got an 8/10 from me. |

It's a shame that after last week's amazing level of animation, we're back to standard (and substandard, in some places) visuals. A massive chapter in terms of storyline for those not following the manga, decent use of music and Pain's choral theme again. Still, I can only throw out a 7 after being given such wonderful animation last week. |

That's a lot of orange hair in one place but still all six path look amazing i like their altogether now pose scene when they jump out the hole jariaya made. J-man plan to get the tide of battle to turn in his favor was smart and pace of the ep was a little bit quick but done nicely. Even though jariaya's fight with pain so far isn't on par with V.O.T.E it could be the best we see out of shippuden this arc could be shippuden's V.O.T.E. And next week ep looks like it's going to be a all out brawl between a one arm sage mode J-man and six freaks with the same eyes man i can't wait. |

I tend to agree, wasn't the animation with Gamaken and his "dog" fight awesome? But it seemed similar to the fan made fight video that was spread on Youtube for a long while didnt it especially the end? I think someone stole the rough draft of the episode and claimed he created a fan made animation of Jiraiya vs Pain. |

I must say, the arm part was quite brutal. O_O I hope they keep this up. Great pacing and this fight was always one of my favorites. Looking forward to next week and dreading it at the same time. |

I wish they had saved the 6 & 7 tailed beasts for epic fillers!!!! It could have been Jinchuriki Team Arc! Darn it would be absolutly the best thing ever to see 100% Pain take on Jins!!!! They could use all the moves confirmed by *! **** them :D I wish I was a filler writer! People want fights that FEEL like part of the story. Loved the great Jiraiya action !!! Totally forgot how Jiraiya just suddenly lost his arm (knew he lost it but forgot exactly who took it) Look forward to next week episode. |

Rewatched the episode again. Sage Jiraya looked better compared to the fan-animation look of last episode. Although the classic six paths of pain scenes/panels looked horrendous and like they were drawn by 12 year olds. Ugh way to ruin one of the top moments/panels in the manga. |
