Not much to comment on until the actual chapter comes out since its mostly action. Sakura crying? Never saw that one coming... I really can't decide who I'd prefer to win between Bee and Kisame. Although It would be good to see more of Bee in the future. I still think a scene between him and Gai would be comic gold. |

The way Kisame is talking in that fight sounds like he's using those extrasensory traits of a shark. Sensing electrical waves with the ampullae of lorenzini, I suppose its possible considering Bee is trying to map his movements with a electrical net of sorts. Looks like the shark-man is the only person who'd be able to realize that. Convenient, huh?

Hmmm. Interesting spoilers. It would seem that we get to see some of the fight. Yay. I was just musing that we might not see much but a few minutes (and spoilers) later we can see that we at least get to see the beginnings. Which begs to question if Samehada can absorb chakra then how will this fight go? Bijuu are said to be forms of concentrated chakra but what if the capacity of Samehada has a limit to how much chakra it can absorb? Also what will Bee do to counter since it also seems that they can tell what the Samehada's ability is? Answer the questions dammit Kishi ... :lol: Naruto, Naruto, Naruto .... why? Talk about having tunnel vision. To a point I can see where he is coming from but at the same time this obsession is not healthy. I hope that he realizes that he will have to fight as if he is going to 'kill' Sasuke if he wants to 'save' him. Sasuke only respects power and going into that fight to 'talk about feelings' is like running up and smacking a hungry grizzly. At least he is admitting that it's not about the promise anymore but he is still trying to save Sasuke for some crazy reason. Also it sounds like Sakura's heart was in the right place but now she is going off to look for Sasuke ... bwhaa .... ummm ... confused much. I guess the feelings and actions of a 16 YO girl are still all over the map. I will wait for further developments. Also did she just get angry that Naruto called her on her bull or is she angry that he has a serious case of tunnel visionitis and blinders. |

Because Sasuke jumped in front of Naruto and saved his life from Haku's attack, and later said that he considers Naruto is his best friend. These two things, for Naruto, negate every bad thing Sasuke has done since. (No, it doesn't make sense, but that's the only positive things I recall Sasuke ever did for Naruto.) That's the only explanation. Well there is always the NaruSasu theory... :D |

Interesting fight, I thought that Samehada would prove to be the downfall of Bee although the fight is still early it doesn't look good for Bee. It was obvious Naruto would still want to go after Sasuke regardless of his promise to Sakura and it certainly looks like he is blowing her off kinda like I suspected, I mean Hinata's confession was a lot more and we haven't seen him talk to her yet. :FP: But dear god, Sakura wanting to search for Sasuke is possibly the worst idea she has had in her whole life, I thought she was done being stupid and why wouldn't she at least let Sai and Kiba try and make their case to Naruto? :FP: If only everyone was on the same page, all this nonsense would be eliminated and all parties could put their issues aside and accomplish all goals as a team. I'm presuming because of the context, That Sakura is searching for Sasuke in order to kill him. At least I hope so. Her character really needs it. The Kisame and Kirabi fight looks like it's shaping up really good. |

It seems that way since she stated "I'm sorry Naruto" that was probably the plan all along.. The sad thing is that saying it and doing it are two different things, also they don't know what they are getting themselves into.. They don't have a clue whats going on around them or what Sasuke can do, so I'll just wait to see how this part is handled by Sakura and the rookies.. This manga just seems to get weirder every week.. I'm even more interested in the Kisame vs KB battle now I'm put off by the way Kishi handles hook ups, we got nothing new from that meeting... |

Her tearful apology to Naruto would seem to boost things in the favor of her joining the rookies in stopping Sasuke since Naruto's so dead-set on saving Sasuke. @Everyone: Still, though, a bit of an amusing argument :lol: It somewhat tells me that her words to Naruto, while forced, were not necessarily insincere. But Naruto seems too set in the past to buy it. Oh well. Can't rush these things [if there's even a thing to rush]. Whew. I'm glad Kisame vs. Killer Bee wasn't skipped. It sounds interesting and I hope to see even more of it. I've been really anticipating this fight, especially since we still haven't seen Kisame's full prowess with his sword. So let's see how Killer Bee and Sabu fare against one of the first Akatsuki introduced. |

My problem is unless Sakura has conveniently forget Sasuke completely outclassed them last they encountered him and now with the knowledge of him capturing the Hachibi I have to question her logic in the four of them going after him. I can understand she might be thinking they have to find him before Naruto does, if she is thinking of trying to knock him off, but it would be much better from a strategic standpoint to acquire the services of the other Rookies, especially Shikamaru who I think would be their only hope. Maybe they will be wiped out by Sasuke, that would be a nice catalyst for changing Naruto's views on Sasuke. On another note I missed the pictures of Samehada, it looks wicked. So the samehada's true form is a scaly Christmas tree? Not what I had in mind, but I'll take it! :lol: I'm guessing Sakura doesn't intend to really fight Sasuke only talk like the last time they met. It only seems strange given what we know has happened recently, but to everyone else I guess Sasuke seems approachable and reasonable criminal. Where this is all leading is a mystery, but only good things could come out of it. All in all I'm just glad to find that pencils are deadly in this world and that it looks like Tsuchikage will be getting a little more light in the future. |

Oh, and instead of Gai and Killer Bee meeting, I'd pay to see Gai and Sabu meet and talk about the feelings of being a man. I think that would be a good use of five dollars. |

Interesting now all we we need to see is sakura's face when she confronts sasuke. Then (giving credit to the mod who mentioned it) well see how she fares. Anyway I'm hoping for sasuke to seriously wound sakura,(if they fight) then maybe naruto would get the picture. I guess if naruto can't push his feelings aside and kill sasuke why not have sakura try it (would sasuke expect her to do it at that)and if she can't sai can always try again. I guess i see why she apologize to naruto in her mind. She's about to further the gap since she's about to try to wound sasuke's love for his family and clan. Man reread ryhalt post and like where he went with it. So now we finally get to see just how bad the sword is. At least we get back to the some sort of action and it add factor that is actually zetsu this time and not a clone. Hopefully we see just how his chakra extends against that of a jink/bijuu. |

i think the battle of beevskisame is so far a good one with the possiblity of being great.and as for comedy gold i would say lee when he takes that medicine that has him acting weird like the kimmimaro battle that lee and bee would be comedy gold with the possiblity of gai and sabu watching that would add to it in my opn.

It's great that Sakura will go after Sasuke behind Naruto's back. This is a wonderful plan. They won't succeed much though, but it will definitely wake Naruto up if something happens to them.

You'd think Naruto would quit his manhunt if his closest teammate and his peers just told him to cut it out. C'mon Kakashi, you're the only one who can stop the insanity... I guess Naruto's stubborn, one-track mind is what kept him from at least facing Hinata. He won't even think about his closest teammate while he goes off to search for a criminal. I think this is the point in which we have to realize the main character's gone bonkers... And only a decent beating will cure him... Looking foward to KB's fight, glad to see it wasn't skipped over. I wonder if he'll be able to rap while his tails are activated :huh: |
