I gave it a 6/10 because there were spots where the animation was lagging. But, there were some good parts of the it was nice to see former Uchiha clan members.

Posts: 616 Group: Member Member #14,273 Joined: July 18, 2008	Even though I could've done without the large flashback session, it was nice to see alot of it re-done for the better. The animation and art were so awesome! The fight was extended and that really made all the difference. I loved it! The mood was captured so well, I have to give this a 10/10. The fights to come, albeit weak and disapointing to me in the manga, will shine if handled by these animators and artist (I actually envy the non-manga readers as of late). Please, handle that $#!* right, lol! :lol:

Sure we have for the most part seen all of this before but I feel that it really help set the plate for the confrontation that occurred at the end of the episode. Plus I am not sure if everyone noticed this but there were a few new scenes added into the flashbacks that we haven't seen before. In my opinion these new scenes actually help tell the complete story better. As more is revealed I am sure fans will appreciate these new scenes even more. I thought that these two episodes (Especially the second one) were very informative. First we find out that the Mangekyou Sharingan causes the user to go blind. Then we find out that the Mangekyou Sharingan grants the user the ability to control the Kyuubi. Later on we get a little back story concerning Madara and how he was the one behind the Kyuubi attack on Konoha sixteen years ago. We also found out that there is yet another level to the Sharingan, the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Overall I thought this special was pretty good. Like I stated above I liked the flashbacks and the new information revealed throughout the special. The back and forth Genjutsu casting by Itachi and Sasuke was also pretty neat. As expected from two Sharingan users. I would have to agree with those that thought the crazy Itachi scene was awesome. That had to be the most emotion we have ever seen out of him. I will give this special a 9.

Thanimation wasn't bad I can't wait for 137, though I do agree that Sasuke looks like hes aged about four years in the second bit there. Also did anyone else notice that in part 2 when Sauke and Itachi were real close up (before the clone) there were alot of streching rubber sounds? You can, after all, be impaled and not die in the real world, so it's not some crazy anime/manga only thing. Admittedly IRL you'd probably end up going into shock if somethigng like that happened, but still...

I honestly think he is one of the most interesting characters in the manga/anime and given his almost omniscient status believe their is so much more to see. Sadly the next time we see a madara flashback will prob be after the 5 kage meeting when oldmantoad talks about his fight with him sigh Can't wait for sas lightning/fire tiger jutsu either hope they keep the quality up <_< Do not post spoilers in the manga section without the spoiler tags Edited by Syndacite, Nov 24 2009, 10:45 AM.
