Hmm, I wish the aura around the Susanno was blue rather than red, for spoileriffic reasons... Red makes it look like its on fire, while actually it was some sort of chakra aura, and blue being the default color for chakra, would have been better. |

Why, why, why? Very dissapointed in where they ended the episode. Spoiler: click to toggle Kirin and Susanoo looked amazing and the animation was pretty much perfect so 9/10

great episode. 9/10 It'll be better if they didn't show the emotional drama after the famous massacre. But I like seeing scenes of that little room. Dame it! Zetsu shut up! Kirin looked better than the manga (IMO) and Susanoo looks good in red. couldn't see if theres was an omake or preview. |

Another good ep, I kinda liked the way it ended it was sort of poetic.. Itachi was someone Sasuke always looked up to, even when he was filled with hate, he had to elevate his self to reach him... And everything ends with Sasuke looking down at him, his goal of revenge met... I could have still did with out the wild kingdom narration by Zetsu, but I understood why it was done.. Anyway the fight as a whole was done pretty good Kirin and Sasano was done as well as expected.. The genjutsu battle was good, Amatrasu was done crappy and the screaming white snake was unnecessary.. The battle was good but not better then the J-man vs Pain battle, it's just my opinion so I'm not looking for debate lol... And now, we say farewell to another great shinobi, RIP Itachi you were strong... 9/10 |

10/10 Things i liked 1. Kirin & Susanoo 2. the tap on sasuke' forehead while sasuke was shaking from fear :P Things i disliked 1. Ameturasu still looks weird it doesn't look like a flame to me 2. Oro's big comeback and he gets sealed away forever 3. Oro's big chance to make another comeback is literally burned to the ground Sidenote~ Mhmm Was it just me or itachi's mouth moved but there was no words coming out what was that all about :P . I loved that animated fight better than the manga one. |

What can I say it was mindblowing. I wasn't expecting Susano to be red but then again it was a jutsu of the Sharingan. The animation was fantastic and there was little to no filler which is nice. The music wasn't then best. I figured they'd use Orochimaru's theme when he returned and the Akatsuki Death Metal theme when Susano appeared. I got to admit I was rooting for Itachi, it seemed like he had good intentions all along and I wanted him to win. I found Zetsu's commentary funny but I'm shocked they didn't get hit with Amaterasu while everything else did.The preview looks like it'll wrap up somethings and I hope someone saves Sasuke from Tobidara. |

Wonderful episode!!! Two of the strongest jutsu were done great!!! I taught that it would of taken too long for Susanoo to develop but that was done quite well. The time wasting pieces were done good. When they were supposed to be done. It wasn't boring and I guess that's because of the nature of this part. Itachi moving slowly towards him while Sasuke out of fear still attacks and pauses a lot. Orochimaru is now sealed in a genjutsu!!!!! :( :( Can we really call that resting in piece??? Goodbye oh great and nasty villain you. 10/10. |

They didn't. CrunchyRoll has a habit of missing out either the opening or ending scenes off of episodes. It's happened several times before. The episode ended in the place you wanted it to, but for some reason this is missing from CR's episode. Online RAWs and more worthwhile subbed versions of the episodes, include the final scene. |

That's strange I know it's been known to happen to two parters but this is the first I've heard of it on a stand-alone episode. Either way it's totally in-excusable even if it is in all likelyhood beyond Crunchyroll's control. (after all they can only deliver what gets send to them)

Wonderful episode animation was good red sasuno'o caught me by surprise since i didn't stay to see the last ep preview but i like. Karin was done really good and sasuke cockiness after he thought he took out itachi made me chuckle a little. this episode gets a 9/10 from me once again i didn't like zetsu commentary on fight. |

Surprisingly better than I thought it'd be. The animation and artwork were stunning. In fact, the visuals as a whole were absolutely top-notch. I'm loving Susanoo's anime appearance, I think its red color gives the jutsu a very aggressive, intimidating touch. Everything was fluid and flowed very smoothly, too. In terms of its production, Shippuuden is arguably now a quality anime. There's no denying how far it really has come. Again, the plot was just okay. Chapter 392 contains one of my least favorite parts in the entire series, I honestly hated Orochimaru's death in this episode because it felt just as contrived as it did in the manga; by some silly convenience, Susanoo's Totsuka sword just so happens to be the out-of-nowhere counterpart to Orochimaru's Kusanagi and by extension himself, thereby immediately giving him the perfect weakness at the drop of a hat. Kishimoto was obviously attempting poetic irony in this scene, but his deus ex machina esque manner of incorporating it feels far too rushed and generally nonsensical just for the purpose of removing Sasuke's CS and quickly advancing the plot. Everything else was surprisingly made fairly enjoyable though, I liked the Kirin scene and the extreme amount of tension between siblings as Itachi approached Sasuke for his prized eyes. Itachi's death is actually somewhat interesting because it leaves the viewer wondering whether he had ulterior motives or simply missed Sasuke's eye and collapsed due to his deteriorating health. This battle in its entirety was still a bit underwhelming, certainly not as great as Jiraiya vs. Pain. However, in Pierrot's credit, I think they've made it more enjoyable than it was in the manga. 7/10. |

10/10. One of the best episode of the entire Shippuuden saga so far, bad place to end it though. Nice to see Orochimaru get a few seconds of air time lol. |

The episode was good. I liked the animation aspect and Susanoo was greatly done, IMO. It's good to finally see this fight come and go. I think my favorite part of the episode happened when Itachi faceplanted up against the wall.

Yea Itachi hitting the wall face first wasn't something I didn't expect at all, I couldn't stop laughing...Actually that was how it ended, I found a full version and to my surprise that was it... Loved it. I personally thought Susano'o looked brilliant, colour and all. The whole episode was very well done, really good art work for the most part and great animation. A fitting end. |

That strip was awsome... :lol: Not bad at all. I almost enjoyed the entire episode if not for Zetsu yapping his mouth off at every little move Itachi and Sasuke made. I mean damn shut the hell up dude!! :FP: Aside from that, I thought Susano was well animated. I didn't like Ameterasu, IMO it could have been drawn and animated much differently, but never the less it was entertaining. Oro coming back for an encore after so long was great, sadly, it only lasted for a short time. :FP: Itachi's last breath was pretty touching and funny at the same time. I mean the poor guy slammed his head on the wall pretty hard, i think that's what actually killed him...ROLF I mean his head even snapped backwards!!! :lol: Overall great episode!
