*croak* That's the sound of continuity dying. So this takes place before the Tea Country arc or something? It's not that it's a bad episode, but the filler inserts are really starting to stretch the series thin all the way back even to the original series. |

I was tired from work and happy, having finally picked up my copy of Storm 2. I liked the episode, though I know if it hadn't been for the circumstances I wouldn't have. |

Not too shabby, this episode was not as bad as the previous ones. I have to say that I enjoyed the bond that Gaara created with his fellow sand nins, with the help of Naruto of course. I just want these darn fillers gone already I'm loosing my patience quickly and i don't see the end any time soon... :FP: |

These episodes are absolutely wonderful. Let's have 20 more of these. They show fully how part one was way better than part two.... Not boring at all! |

Decent episode. It seems to be placed in late part 1, but before the Tea Country and Sasuke Retrieval Arcs. Sakura and Sasuke are, of course, apprehensive due to this being the first time seeing Gaara since the Chuunin Exam Arc where he was a psychotic killer. Sucks that the sand distrusted Gaara enough that they'd really send assassins to take him out. I thought the subplot with the two Sand Ninja acknowledging Gaara as a friend was touching, though. In all, a pretty decent episode. Better than last week's. I don't know about next week, based on the preview, but I'll give it a go. |

My favorite parts of the episode had to be the beginning when it showed Kankurou working on a new puppet and the conversation he had with Gaara and Temari. In my opinion these were nice little additions and I have a feeling these two scenes will become more significant somewhere down the line. Overall this episode was better than the last few episodes. It proved to be the beginning stages in a long process that has made Gaara into such a beloved leader today. Sasuke and Sakura's reaction to Gaara being on this joint mission were both priceless. Still though this episode wasn't anything special. The episode next week doesn't look very appealing at all. Anyway I'll give this episode a 6. |
