I don’t recall a chapter that has gotten me this close to hyperventilating and it all started with the prospect of seeing Omoi in full action. After being deprived of rookies for so long I’m itching to see how they have improved and better yet how they fair in completely scrambled teams. All the squads seemed poised for some good dialogue, conflict, and/or attack combos. Kudos to Kishi for remembering even small characters like Hana. The training card was a pretty good way to keep Naruto preoccupied and I approve since that was pretty much why he was there in the first place. I definitely have no qualms with Kabuto’s input. I would have been disappointed if we never got to see the so called legends in action (I'm looking at you, 4th Kazekage). The thought of completely different matches up against old opponents is ok in my book. I always wondered how the other rookies would have done against Zabuza and Haku and now the chance has come. My only fear is that some of them will fall victim to power vs. numbers and get really down powered and beaten in one hit until the number of enemies become more manageable as was the case with Sasori's puppets. How most characters will overcome regeneration is beyond me. so Zetsu's power up was just some steroids? I guess its something. I really can’t wait to see this animated. |

last few pages made this entire chapter worthwhile. i hope this will give kishi the opportunity to let the show go out with a bang and have all the old greats fighting. and as mentioned before, hopefully the anime will add in some filler action and make the battles even more awesome. here's to hoping shino actually does something combat related this time around. the comment of him trying to keep a low profile usually means he'll be in action in some way. |

Great chapter. A lot of potentially great fights ahead of us. Also the communications guy from a while back is a ninja? Interesting to see him on the intel squad. Wow at Darui ranking as a general, but thinking back he is pretty pro. I'm thinking Kurotsuchi and Akatsuchi are siblings while Kitsuchi is their father and Oonoki is Kitsuchis father. Also looks like the kages have their own respective body guards since many of which were absent from the front lines. |

kishi does know how to mess with people's mind what's with kabuto saying i am not going to use it on zetsu, so is zetsu a part of the first hokage dna and not a real ninja |

If so, that would explain why Kishimoto got rid of Zetsu's headband after his first appearance. Assuming Zetsu's true identity has been in mind since the beginning of part 2. |

Awesome chapter I thought, like the new headbands that they made and it was interesting to see Yamato stuck in the statue. I loved the tonton part Of Course! Can't wait to read the next chapter, hope that it is just as good. |

Anyone else seeing Juugo vs Kimimaro and Zabuza vs Suigestu? I wonder if Suigestu's brother will be one of the ninjas who made a name for themselves. I wonder if the Hokages will be revived or if they are off limits since they are in the shinigami's stomach. Asuma vs Shikamaru is a must too. So the war will be a bunch of the current characters vs. characters that have already kicked the bucket? I think Kishi should've come up with a better way to showcase the talents of all the other shinobi. Don't get me wrong though...the idea of seeing soo many possible badasses in action could be awesome. I hope Kishi handles it well though. Maybe a mix of how Bleach and One Piece handle their respective wars. |

This has to be the best chapter in a long!! time so many awesome fights can happen now but Shikamaru vs Asuma has to happen it would be freaking epic! and it sucks that Yamato is stuck in that statue and forced to make the zetsu stronger I seriously cant wait for the next chapter!!!! :lol:
