An alright episode. The weapons that the guy created were really useless and it was cool how TenTen controlled that big huge weapon. Overall a 7/10 |

not too surprised... if you think about it... any more canon material would flow into the next arc and wouldint make sense to pause from it(you manga guys should know whats next)... looks like a whole season of pure filler now

It took an episode of Tenten for you all to understand. And this is when she was young. Now you all know why she cannot be in the forefront. If you taught Sasuke got attention then she'd definitely triple that. And that's the minimum amount. She's so hot, so cool, the way she took charge....mmmm I just love her. No rating for this. |

In my opinion this was one of those filler episodes that didn't require Naruto to be involved. I can understand why he was in the previous episodes before this one because he was the main focal point but that wasn't the case here. They could have just as easily had Rock Lee in Naruto's place. All they had to do was move the time where this episode takes place up a bit. It could have occurred after the Sasuke Retrieval mission since the village was recovering from the invasion after that mission failed. Overall this was a decent episode. It was kind of nice for TenTen to get some spotlight since she is one of the characters who are often ignored. TenTen's reaction to the weapons made me think of Winry from the Fullmetal Alchemist series. They both get all starry eyed when around things they love (In TenTen's case ninja weapons and in Winry's case automail). I liked how TenTen got past those traps set up by the weapons designer and how she took care of the two villains. I did think the weapons in this episode were a little out there. Fans who don't follow the events of the manga could probably tell that this was filler. Episode gets a 7. |

i also didn't get why naruto was there. lee could have been there and the episode would have been exactly the same. he did nothing. it was probably because they can't have a filler without the main character. |

Yeah because he totally hasn't followed directions before. :P Anyway, it was a pretty decent episode. Especially if you compare it to last week's. Tenten was awesome in this eppy. Cool that she got to be in charge. :) One of the better of the current filler eps IMO. That being said, though, I'm greatly anticipating the next canon arc going into full swing. |

I think we'll see some "real" episodes after Naruto Shippuuden 190 ends. I juts checked wikipedia, and ep. 190 is called "Naruto and the Old Soldier" :( |

i know that, but the animators could of placed the episode after lee recovered and not have to shove naruto in. if someone is on a mission, they might as well do something. it seemed pointless and detracted from tenten's spotlight. |

Naruto has a pretty poor track record of doing so, especially in fillers. He's normally pulling a "Leeroy Jenkins", rushing in before anyone can give him orders. |
