The war begins. I wonder if this chapter was Kishi fixing a mistake from a few chapters ago. Note the two countries being evacuated now appear to be Hot Springs and a new Frost Country ninja village rather than Water. |

Yea I noticed that too. Another good chapter, Sasori using all the allies again the allied forces is something. Ending was great Sai seeing his "brother" for the first time in a while. Good way to start off the war. Deidara and Sasori are a pretty deadly combination. 10/10 |

i loved the suicide bomber puppet technique deidara and sasori used . also deidara was hilarious ( especially with the art lesson part ) i feel sorry for anko and the other leaf guys i think sais bro had his head completely flattened from sais kick , which was disgusting , and finally we get good intel on ET also it would seem that deidara is the leader of the team Edited by alekos23, Nov 17 2010, 04:05 PM.

Hope that isn't the end of Anko !!! Would have loved to have seen more of her. So Sai's brother has appeared and a showdown is on the card. Loved the battles so far and hopefully Omoi, Sai and Kankuro will step up !!! |

So I guess Sasori doesn't need his 100-puppet theater technique. This works too, I suppose, organizing two ninja who can complement each other well. I wonder what Sasori will think when Kankuro pulls out his puppet body. And Sai v. his brother; that should be fun. Essentially, they have no tactic to stopping the bodies other than making Kabuto dispel it; sounds like a hopeful situation. With the inclusion of all these characters, I forsee a lot of deaths. A lot. Edit: The Hyuuga clan were used throughout the war beforehand. This was, more or less, foreshadowed by Ao's byakugan during the summit. Edited by horyo, Nov 17 2010, 04:24 PM.

Well it is a great start, Everybody's skills are being used. So Kankuro ( Suna ), a puppet master, in his squad has Omoi ( Kumo ), a swordsmen, Ittan ( Iwa ),a doton user, Hoheto ( Konoha ), a Hyga, Saji ( Konoha ), a sensor,Kiri ( Kiri ) a medic and Sai ( Konoha ), Ink user. So again Konoha ninjas are majority... Frost county... Why now introduce that, unless we are going to see some shinobis from there And really, Anko couldnt get a fight!? 5 pages would be enough, just some skills at least, but no.. BUUUUU! And considering Muta's been a 2 chapter character, we know a lot about her. She's an Aburame, considered part of an advanced infiltration and recon unit, she can send out bugs underground for collecting data, she can use flying bugs for carrying objects ( scroll ) and for jamming sensor ninjas. @fictionreader98 actually the first kia would possibly be the takigakure ninja we saw at the beginning of the arc, possibly yamato, anko, muta, konan, Danzo or kisame, or well all of them. since they all died after madara declared war. and i have no idea about danzo's bodyguards hopefully filler can take care of that but ive noticed a lot of the characters from the five kage arc are missing in action, hopefully they appear later in the war. and glad to see raido again i cant wait to see the jinchuriki fight. since they also revive powers, do we have zombie bijuus now? if so, good thing naruto's still alive. im so confused now, is hot spring village still a ninja village? cause the 3rd databook said it wasn't but on account of hidan's current status databooks have been proven wrong. hopefully we eventually get to learn where wood and iron countries are and more info on some of the newer villages introduced a few chapters ago. where did they say frost country was? by the land of lightning or the country that mountain's grave is in? so many questions... |

@AZOZ316: Kabuto's already shown with Yamato that he has more plans in mind than just Edo Tensei requirements, so the possibility that he's captured Anko to experiment on her like he plans with Yamato isn't impossible. Guess we'll see. @AburameSempai: If you want to count Danzo, the Takigakure Ninja, Konan or any of those, then yes, I suppose we could classify them as the first deaths. I do not based on the fact that 1) they aren't part of the Shinobi Alliance, 2) they were killed before things were officially formed and 3) the actual 'war' is only starting right now, but to each their own. |

Omoi's war when did this become a documentary. great chapter loved sia's brother line about being a mortal and the expression on sai's face that just shows evening if someone explain something to you it won't make sense until you see it. sai... run little brother! you see what they've done to my body... you can't win. I think I liked this chapter from the moment I heard the title. This start definitely exceed my expectations. After so many 1-on-1 fights its nice to see squads working cohesively against other squads. Sasori without his poison isn't as exciting as I had hoped so I hope he has some other skills. Its nice that death has been brought to the forefront but I'm even more glad that the first reunion wasn't totally sappy. It seems like the ET has all the memories without the emotions which I think is ideal. For a moment I really did doubt that the common sense to restrain/ immobilize ET would be overlooked, but thankfully I was mistaken. Looks like things just got real. Something tells me that the next chapter might become my favorite chapter to date, but I'll wait and see. |
