There is no excuse for that Mushroom-Samba-ripoff episode, or the island-thieving-pirates one, or the merry-go-round not-a-genjutsu one. Still, "mercenary ninja"? Isn't that Department of Redundancy Department material? And if they ended up back on the same ship, why did they even bother to cross land? I mean, yes, we covered two episodes ago that even something as big as a ship can be stored in a scroll, but Water Country consists of islands. What idiot would take a path through which a ship, as the primary form of transportation, could not be navigated? At least there's only a quarter of the journey left.

S class mage Posts: 25 Group: Member Member #20,745 Joined: November 3, 2010	when i thought that naruto is the best anime made ever i was wrong. these fillers screwed naruto shippuuden, they could at least make better fillers but they are too cheap. im stating to hate the anime, they are already nearly 2 years behind the manga and they had to add one of the most horrible fillers ive seen.

Jounin Posts: 3,770 Group: Member Member #3,859 Joined: August 4, 2006	I wasn't a fan of Iggy's design. For most of the episode he looked like he should be working at a hotel. Banna's fake Hidden Leaf Village headband bothered me as well since the symbol was backwards. To make matters worse Iggy drew it wrong again after he freed Banna. You'd figure he would know better after seeing the authentic ones. This was a lousy episode. It was kind of predictable since you knew either Naruto or the entire gang would show up to lend a helping hand at some point. I had my hopes of seeing a somewhat decent fight once they did show up but the mercenary ninja went down so quickly and easily. There's still a quarter of the journey left? Well at least next week looks promising. Episode gets a 2.

In terms of specifics, it's hard to notice something like that, unless you have the perspicacity of a good ninja. It just goes to show how poor of a ninja he would have made. And also, did anyone else feel reminded of Team Galactic after seeing Iggy? Anyone?

Genin Posts: 265 Group: Member Member #21,302 Joined: April 13, 2011	ha a terrible episode indead maybe it was the episode before with the girls get together or the fact they said they have only a quarter left that made me give this episode a 4 also i think the reason they are traveling on land it to give guy some rest being back on land or its so they when they pass a village they could stock up in it and they could maybe eat some usual food rather than just fish who knows hope next weeks better than this one
