Chapter's out. The Gokage prepare to face off against Madara and there are admittedly some pretty interesting tidbits for something completely transitional. I have no idea what's going on with A getting his arm back, though. Discuss. |

Well it wasn't an action packed chapter but it was a build up we get to see all the hokage fighting at once but i feeel like they will be unsuccessful in their attempt thus proving the power of madara, and lets not forget this leaves tobi running free out there somewhere with no kages to stop him |

Well, the chapter was pretty ok. The only thing i don't like is pulling FTG from the ass. I thought that FTG was lost with the 4th Hokage death but it seams that it wasn't true. And actualy some medicore ninja like Genma knows such technique and was actualy 4th Hokage personal bodyguard(he was like 13 or younger). That don't make any sense at all. |

Oh darn, you beat me to it! Also, I knew Tsunade was going to use her healing after the "flesh tear" comment! Now, I think this is supposed to be the part where Madara ensues a curb-stomp battle against the five kage, though if written well, both sides should suffer collateral damage to some extent. |

well from what we've seen of anbu in the past they are not that great if you remember back to the oro invasion arch way back when, but i do agree that pulling the flying thunder god technique out of nowhere is a bit random, it does open up the possibility that naruto can learn it though even though his dad is dead, which many have suspected would happen at some point |

A ten strictly for Tsunade making an awesome entrance. I don't think I'm going to care for how this fight will go, but I do like how it's started. Oonoki's almost guaranteed to die at this point, since he's singing a different tune now and subjecting us to flashbacks. Somebody really needs to find Oonoki's left sandal for him, though; at least he can fly in the meantime. Not sure about the Hiraishin, either. Although it's arguable there was plenty of information on it—Minato doesn't strike me as the type to hoard his techniques from his allies—so that anyone at any time could learn it too if they put in enough effort, it does seem more than a little left-field. I'm pleased at the "weakness" of needing the three specific ninja to act in concert, though; it limits the technique's usefulness. I'm not too concerned with the possible discrepancy of Genma's age; since jounin—special or otherwise—are hardly a dime a dozen, he's obviously shown for quite some time that he's nothing to sniff at. And more, if Genma's a special jounin, then what does he specialize in? We haven't really seen him do anything except chew on senbon and proctor the chuunin exam finals, which they wouldn't let any idiot do, so it's a bit preemptive to say he's mediocre. His stats are pretty well balanced, although they do seem to reach out a little more toward seal knowledge and ninjutsu. So it's not impossible that he learned the Hiraishin, and it's more than possible that he learned it fast and well if he had Minato's help. Oh, why not? Everyone is culturing everyone else's DNA and/or cells at this point, so why shouldn't A be able to have a medical-science team grow him a nice new arm with some chakra to speed the development? He even got to be a war general while he waited! Pretty sweet deal, I'd say. The really interesting part is that he apparently didn't have it as recently as page fourteen. Whoops. |

Funnily enough i didn't think anything of the arm thing i just assumed he would get it back no one loses an arm that easily unless they know they can get it back and the rules in their universe and ours are completely diffferent so i'm willing to go with it for now i would want the raikage at full strength for this fight anyway |

He didn't have it til that very last pannel so I'm guessing its an artwork error, they do happen from time to time like when Kabuto suddenly lost his glasses. |

That was so badass! The next couple of chapters should be even more badass! We saw a glimpse of Madara's character with that scene with Oonoki, and he was very much a jerk back then too. It was good that Hashirama ended up being the Hokage. This chapter really solidified how old Oonoki is for me. He's been around since the founding of the one village-one country system that we see today in the Naruto universe. About the Thunder God technique, it's good to know that only a really exceptional shinobi can master it like Yondaime Hokage. In the current era, it takes 3 people to accomplish it, when Minato only did it by himself. |

The only thing I can guess is that Tsunade used her seal to heal herself as well as E, seeing as they both went through the teleportation technique unscathed. It could have very well been an artwork error though.Seems like a mistranslation - Japanese has no pronouns. Seeing as they just summoned Mei next page with FTG, and that Tsunade was talking about somebody who could beat fire jutsu, it seems likely. But this is the closest Naruto's ever come to someone with FTG - it might very well get forced onto him anyway. |

Naruto obataining FTG is hradly the worst thing that could happen in the manga, the way things are going at the moment it would suit his fighting style quite well and considering the level of opponents he has to face in the future even if he did master the bijuu bomb i would think he still needs a technique like FTG to really stand his own against sasuke with ems and possibly rinnegan if things turn out the way i think they will. |

I just re read it and on the panel where he disappears you can't see his arm because tsunade is standing in front of him, i'm not denying that it could be an artwork error but if it isn't i don't think its that much of a stretch to think that they have a way of regrowing of somehow getting limbs considering what we've seen recently |

i always assumed he got his arm healed back up here 464 p7 anyway, chapter wasnt all that exciting. the image of all the kage's together is kinda dulled a bit. gaara is part of the new age, as is tsunade really. raikage we've seen fighting before, onoki is half-dead, and mei is a wild card. we've seen a few of her abilities but she can probably show us a surprise or 2. i figure her to be the one to make the biggest difference in this battle. ftg being taught to the team is unfortunate. first off, where did they teleport to? i thought they needed to tele to a seal. did i miss a seal being placed somewhere? this does cheapen ftg and minato a bit though. it was supposed to be something only he could do cuz he was so awesome. now we have them knowing it. i dont care if naruto learns it or not at this point. his speed in kyuubi form is fast enough. a shift to ftg would just mean his movements becme predictable with the seal instead of just super-fast. what im most excited about was chojiru finally doing something. cant wait to see that in the anime (im assuming it'll get extended into a full battle) 5/10 strictly for chojiru awesomeness |

That was standard healing oblivion, I don't think even Tsunade can regenerate a whole limb. Anyway I figured it was an artwork error due to the way the cloak's sleeve was flapping in the wind while he was attacking. |

Awesome chapter! Finally get to see Mei cut loose and well more Tsunade fighiting. And they caught Zetsu. To last this long against so many means he is not as weak as I though. |

Tsunade stated that she can regenerate her limbs with her special technique, but yeah, even she can't do it with healing ninjutsu alone. |

i kinda hope it's not a error on the raikage want to see him go all out i hope tsunade has more jutsu then she showed against Orochimaru It's still a chance that naruto will learn the ftg maybe he'll be able to do it in his normal form ........ i'm noticing something naruto's clones are drop dead tired if they dispel and all the fatigue back to the main body he's doomed |

Really great introductory chapter for the fight to come! Not too sure about Kishi pulling the "now suddenly genma and the others were Minato's personal guards and know the hirashin technique" but it's only a super minor peeve. Edited by samuchan, Nov 3 2011, 02:59 AM.

Very good chap really didn't care for the kages just because they were all defeated at one point besides muzikage and her bodyguards and I would say tsuchikage too but he is in terrible shape. Secondly I wish is about to come thru Naruto is coming to get his fathers jutsu well I now know it's not a bloodline jutsu since it was thought to others, this is just great. I don't know why Naruto is still around he should have disappeared by now and also gaara looks unsure maybe he doesn't want to give his life so young. would have love to see more fighting or more stories been told, and hope that leave it for him doesn't mean use it to bring to the battle field like they did muzikage and and did the FTG responded to tsunade rebirth seal. |
