Damn I thought for sure we were going to see Tobi's face when he reached for the mask and said, "Do you really wanna see what's under my mask?" on the second last page. I thought the last page was just going to be his real face. Looks like we'll have to wait a little while longer to see it though. |

Damn kishi first it was movie characters now your just going to steal moves out of the filler episodes not cool man. great chapter the jin's were epic espeasilly the last top panel with their tails out :huh: i thought bee and yugara were the only ji's with full control. I was waitin for sumone to say it.. lol. And the only one with complete control i beleive was bee. Yugara if i remember correctly still didnt have complete control.and remember, they are edo tenseis and they prob dont have all the chakra from the beasts. Not a bad start to the skirmish. Some people had me worried that jin would be relying more on their eyes, but I'm glad that wasn't the case. It's about time we saw the jin in action since unlike the kage they don't all seem to have legacies. The fact that they are acting like team is a bonus. I look forward to see how they handle when they go all out and how Mr. Nobody might join the fray. I still can't hold a straight face looking at Han with a tail. |

You say that as if this franchise isn't under his control and he doesn't approve what goes into the fillers or the movies. While he may have staff working on that while he works mainly on the manga he's still aware of what is done with his copyrighted story and characters in animation. He can't steal from himself. Within the course of the story there wasn't much freedom to showcase every single jinchuriki. So I don't see much of a problem sticking them in filler and simply using some techniques now. ---------------- Well I enjoyed the fighting this chapter as well as Tobi/Madara/No Name's revelation. Might as well just call him The Mask. I'm thinking now since he sees himself as nobody and just a means to complete the Moon's Eye, Madara set some ridiculously strong Genjutsu on someone erasing their sense of self and just ordering one command which was to complete this plan. As vague as the order from Shisui's eye to protect/save Konoha. Whatever happened, I like where Kishimoto is going with his character. |

It's possible that the animators conferenced with Kishi on what powers Ukitaka can have since they introduced a character that was yet to be explored in the Naruto universe |

:D I believe the man behind the mask is the FIRST HOKAGE. little info has been released about him since the first chapter. they dont show where he's buried. and out of all kage's brought back, they didn't even bring him back. The Masked guy, in chapter 564, didnt want kabuto to bring out madara. And his sharigan isn't even his. he stole it from madara. So i believe the ~SNIP~ behind that DAMN mask is the first Hokage. Not too bad a chapter. I'll say, though, that it does look like there are two hairline cracks on Tobi's mask in the last chapter. Bad Kishi-troll. Actually, there are more such cracks during this chapter (e.g., page thirteen, panel one), and they remind me of the Edo Tensei marks/cracks/whatever. Not that I'm suggesting Tobi is an Edo entity; that's all but impossible as far as I can tell. Anyway, interesting that Tobi did expect Naruto to pass through him; a special new power from the kyuubi, maybe? Barring the possibility that Tobi's following comment of "expecting more" isn't just a taunt, there may be interesting things ahead. I liked how each of the jinchuuriki had a moment to shine (heaven forbid that means they don't do anything of note for the rest of the fight). I'd like to see Yagura play with his crochet hook more; that thing would be suitable for blunt force trauma and would have the weight to gut someone instantly, which is horribly hilarious with that camellia adding such a pretty touch—its green petals surely helps prevent afterimages amidst all the inevitably-shed blood. I'd like to see Han do more too; for some reason I find him to be one of the more interesting jinchuuriki. Yugito's nail-lengthening was a nice cat tribute. Convenient that Tobi's name doesn't matter anymore, although it's not an entirely incorrect statement. If the Moon's Eye plan succeeds, after all, the implication is that the Infinite Tsukuyomi will be so strong no one will know or care or even realize anyone's responsible for it. I think it's kyuubi's turn for Therapy Jutsu—looks like we're seeing the beginnings of it. Scary. I don't think it matters at this point. If Tobi was able to hypnotize the kyuubi to begin with, the each of the bijuu—or at least the remnants of their chakra—would similarly be within the realm of control. Well, that's a thought. Do the jinchuuriki really need them or is there some other motive? Their Sharingan have so far been shown as just mastered, which is identical in every Uchiha; only if they use a Mangekyou technique will we see if and how their eyes and techniques differ. And the Rinnegan, we know, offers a wider range of vision—that's an obvious bonus. But if the Six Paths don't have to be divided into six people, then maybe Tobi's simply going to use all of the Six Path techniques and have the jinchuuriki give him better vision over greater distances. And do we know for a fact that the Rinnegan is the only doujutsu that can allow that many-angles-of-vision? I don't think it was stated (although I think it would take away from the implied near-omnipotence of the Rinnegan), and all of the transplanted Sharingan and Byakugan we see come from dead people or people who are assumed dead, so there's no clarification that I know of. While that's entirely possible, it made me think Tobi was actually in his right mind and that he meant he would include himself in the brainwashed masses. Time will tell, I guess. Kishi can drag it out, but he can't get away with never revealing Tobi's identity. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but the Shodai and Nidaime were both sealed three years ago by the Sandaime after Orochimaru used Edo Tensei to revive them during the Sand-Sound invasion. The Shodai, Nidaime, Sandaime, and Yondaime Hokage are all currently sealed in the death god, which means they can't be alive now or existing again as Edo entities. |

I found it interesting how Tobi said they can call him whatever now. To me it was pretty much him admitting that he is not Madara. He just had to use that name because like how Tsunade said, the name itself has power. He used that power to start the war and now that it's started he doesn't need the name anymore. He pretty much said that. At this point I'm not even gunna try and guess who Tobi is. I'll just have to wait and see. For all we know he could just be a random ninja that we don't even know yet. It's posible that he only transplanted the Sharingan like he did with the Rinnegan and isn't even an Uchiha. Hopefuly we'll find out soon. |

If Naruto is anything like DBZ, the Movie/Filler Makers go to the Manga's creator and ask for moves and characters when they want to do something impressive (instead of somthing just wiped out at the end of a filler saga). The Cooler movies are an example of that in DBZ. Though fully filler, Cooler was designed by the Big Man himself. I'm sure Kishi did the same thing. Chapter was strong, but (and this may just be me) I really find these types of chapters are only fun animated ^-^ Looks like tobi will be confirmed very soon. Also, I love how all this insane debate people had on the Naruto headbutt was so easily dealt with by kishi (as I knew it would be of course). My guess on Tobi is one of the named uchiha from earlier based on the black hair and intimate knowledge of the clan. My current guess is almost too trolltastic to post (so I won't), but I referenced it in jest before to have a record of it so we will see. |

So the jinchuuriki are fighting with their own power rather than with the moves from the six paths. Fighting six other bijuu is one thing but can Naruto defeat Tobi afterwards? Naruto gets captured here. Hope we get a good fight before that. 10/10. |

That's an interesting point, I never considered that. I kind of assumed that there was no way it was Madara simply because we've seen Madara with the Kage. However, if he was simply using the name it could bring the argument that Tobi has been using the name for years long enough that the kyuubi only knows him as Madara. Now I am not very clued up on the Uchiha history I got a bit blurry with Madara stealing the eyes kind of thing, but (no one shoot me for asking this please) what happened to the brother (he died right?) he stole the eyes from, and do we absolute proof he died? Since we do have absolute proof Obito, Orocimaru died, I probably sound like an idiot now...I should look up the chapter and come back and edit this. |

^I think that the brother didn't die from getting his eyes removed but did in fact die later in war. I'm not positive but I think we saw a picture of him in his coffin which would pretty much confirm his death.
You're right this does seem near imposible. Especially sense it's already looking really hard for Naruto and Bee even though it's just the beggining. But the only thing I'm wondering is that what if this Naruto is also just a clone? That could lead to them getting defeated and Bee being captured finally while Naruto's clone is forced to disapear. |

You have to remember tobi is the one who told the story and he could have been lying about izuna dying, just like he lied about a few other things. And id like to add i beleive it to be highly unlikely that BEE dies. He is now a friend of Naruto and if he fails in keeping Bee alive, then this falls under the "how can i be hokage if i cant even save one friend" mantra. I don't know about the rest of you, but i had a look at what might posibly be under the mask. for those of you who read on mangareader, you know what i'm talking about (unless you don't like this stuff) but at the end of mostrecent chapters kishi gives spoectacular art, and some of it is past, some present chapter stuff, and sometimes just cool pages There are even a RARE few that show things that have yet to be seen yet... The one i am talking about has half that NEW mask of his broken, on what side idk, but it gives a good veiw. todays though i see Naruto in either Sage mode, or just emo eye-liner mode with Bee, and that hasn't been seen (and no, Emo eyeliner mode was not presented in beast control mode, Normalnaruto with raging eyes and eyeliner over them) |

most of the time it is colored art at the end of the chapter where they are from the chapter, no differences, so i believe them to be coloredart by kishi to increase his fanbase, but i could be wrong too. still,looked too real as kishi art to be anything else to me. |
