Great chapter, seeing the Kuramas flashback was nice. Looks like he spoke to the first hokage right after the battle with madara. Can't wait for the next one. |

Kurama... why did that make me instantly think of Yu Yu Hakasho? Anyways, Kakashi and Gai kicking more ass than ever and an epic showdown with Kyuubi and Madara.

This chapter was a nice surprise.I really didn't know which direction the next chapters were going.It's also pleasant to see how Mangaka show respect to other Mangaka by naming some of their characters after other manga series. It seems that Tobi knows a few Uzumaki sealing techs to control the tail beasts along with the Sharingan.But if the Sharingan came from the Rinnegan,i wonder if the Rinnegan has the same power?

So finally!!he pretty much took care of the telepathy question and the "were they smart without jinchurikki" question in one shot. And his name is son goku, i kinda saw that coming, hes a giant ape and this manga is japanese.lol Kurama, im guessing his only issue with people (besides the whole enslaving him thing) is hes not accepted for who he is and ppl are always tryin ta change him. Source of his hate maybe?..hmm.... Soo, who here thinks the four tails is gonna turn the tide? |

i agree with you but i would rather see more info if we gonna have this talk no jutsu, two or three pages of naruto being too stupid to understand the four tails name is wasteful |

I knew some way or another that the name Kurama would be used in the Nine tails story. It turned out to be his name lol. The Four tails laughing was the best thing Kishi's drawn in a long while. |

It was, literally, only one page and on that page only a few panels. It served the purpose of letting Son Goku see that Naruto was an honest human. Also it was a segway into learning that the Bijuu have names. What people call "Talk-No-Jutsu" is, at this moment, necessary conversation to not only learn valuable information but also to turn the tide of the battle by making Son a possible ally. Naruto changing people through example and conversation as well as action is a theme in the story line and in my opinion was very appropriately used in this situation. |

No, it's not crap. Don't forget that Naruto has a great power to influence or change people's belief. It only tells us how Naruto feels... look at the pictures, the facial expression of Naruto of how he converses with Son Goku. And for the name, it only tells us that Kishimoto and Toriyama are good friends, you know, they're working at the same publishing company. |

Deidara's comment now at this point more less means he is suggesting that the biju have all this power and its wasted because they don't know what to do with it. Which is why they were enslaved and used by humans in the first place to make better use of it. |

Just wanted to point out that Dragonball Z and Naruto are both taking Son Goku from a Chinese legend called "Journey to the West" so its not a DBZ reference. Personally I'd assumed that the whole sentience when within a host thing had something to do with them living in the host's subconscious and tapping into it to sharpen their thoughts or something like that. Then again Yagura was meant to have complete mastery over his Bijuu and he doesn't seem like he'd be the type to make friends with it like Bee did. Assuming that isn't code for Madara/Tobi genjutsu dominating the both of them, then it's likely he did the mental equivilent of horse-breaking it. Anyway, I found this chapter a little schmaltzy in places, but overall i found myself enjoying it. The flashback to how Madara first took control over our newly named Kurama Kyuubi was interesting, Kakashi's new raikiri variant was badass, and the four tails continues to be a totally awesome bijuu who i kinda wish had been in the story more and earlier. |

more journey to the west nonsense... cant we have a monkey without a journey to the rest reference thrown in? just once... sigh. whatever. the son goku thing is what did it for me. that was just terrible. theres no need for that at all. also, what happened to his personality? he was a proud ape who hated humans that were arrogant enough to not treat him with any respect. naruto was no different. he couldnt even remember his name, got confused as to where he was and what was going on. not to mention the fact that he was the jinchuuriki of the 9 tails but doesnt even know its name... and we go from all that, to goku liking naruto enough to help him in the span of a few sentences? comeon... thats crap. naruto's convincing argument? 'i wanna be freinds with the bijuu'. sigh... maybe naruto should have started with that before the fight. maybe he wouldnt have gotten attacked by every bijuu there is... this is probably the lowest kishi's writing has gone in my opinion (that last bit is important...) lets take a look at what madara's plan ultimately achieves. it basically puts everyone under a genjutsu that eliminates pain, hatred, suffering, war, casualties, arguments, everything. it puts everyone literally under a perfect state of peace. lets look at naruto's offer. lets stop madara and become friends with the bijuu. but remember, each bijuu is in a different village (for the most part). and when those villages go to war, those friendly ninja you bijuu have trusted, will use u for battle. and many will die. will there be peace afterwards? sure. until the next war... i dont understand how Son could go with naruto over madara on this one. ninja have been enslaving the bijuu and using them as weapons of mass destruction for ages. madara wants to stop all that and bring, quite literally, world peace (at the cost of free will) 3/10 |

great chapter, I liked Kakashi's lightning chain, that was pretty cool and different. It was pretty nice seeing Naruto talking to son goku, that is just funny to say thinking back to DBZ and Journey to the West. All around decent chapter, cool to find out the kyubi's name. it will be a long couple of weeks, hopefully get back to some more action and I think the other division's will start arriving soon. 8/10 |

I knew at some point the beasts can be used as allies. I so called it. Liked Kakashi's worrying comment about his chakra. Then he proceeded in making a shadow clone....nostalgic and hilarious. It seems like it's taking a little longer for the ninetails to burst out as expected but were getting there. 10/10. |

You don't saw the "white chain" trapping Son. :FP: I think for now, Naruto doesn't recognized this that he already released a new jutsu - chain that binds around Son's body. And that jutsu is came from the Uzumaki clan. At the last part, we can't argue that Son admitted to himself that Naruto is much stronger than Tobi. And he asks Naruto to release him from the chain, I am correct? |
