Well, not exactly the blockbuster reveals chapter I expected. Having almost half of it dedicated to Kakashi Gaiden flashbacks didn't help. |

Riiiiight more flashbacks that we've seen many times before!! Only cool thing bout this chapter was MADARA.... :) I guess the Kages are done for then... and we didnt even get to see the full fight... FAIL KISHI!! |

things are getting interesting now that madra has showed up. i wonder what state the kages are currently in. i have a feeling one of them maybe dead. i doubt he actually killed them all off. maybe he left while they were fighting his clones. im really interested to see madara's and naruto's interaction with each other, and i also wonder if sasuke will show up at some point |

Seems like Madara left the kages to play with his clones to join Obito, who he seems to know well. I have to say, Obito and Madara look kinda menacing standing side by side. I dont know what will happen here, could be that Madara will try force/pull the kyubi out of naruto, I mean, he does have the power to sense it and track it down, so he must have some wicked evil jutsu or something ready for a situation like this...? And I reckon Sasuke will see the light and decide to help naruto, not for him or the leaf, but some ideology that ninjas that exist in this world are all equal and we must try to work together and rid the world of betrayal...blah blah blah...something like that. Overall, not as exciting or provocative as the last chapter. I mean, it had to be Obito under the mask, because if it was anyone else then we wouldn't have any backstory for them and readers will be like 'Izuna who?' or 'sasukes dad who?'. Anyway, whatever. |

Confirmed facts: 1. Tobi is Obito, in a sense. Notice how he was so careful to say, "[whether or not I survived is irrelevant'"; this is a major clue. 2. Obito's driving force for turning evil was the death of Rin. 3. Madara knows Obito. I would say this further strengthens the Two Tobi theory. Put an orange mask on Obito (left side of last panel) and a white flame mask on Madara (right side of last panel), and what do you have? I guess I'll have to wait another week for further confirmation.
A good guess. I wouldn't be surprised if Madara, or Obito, were, behind the scenes, orchestrating the unrest of the Uchia against Konoha to further create a seed of evil in Sasuke. Or maybe, they just use the cruelty that is already present in the world to warp minds. Also, I think Obito and Madara will be the ones Sasuke is seeking. What better climax in the story than a fight between Naruto, Kakashi, B, Sasuke, Obito, Orochimaru, and Madara -- all the bad a#$es. Edited by elninjaloco, Sep 5 2012, 08:20 AM.

Half the chapter are flashbacks from a past chapter. Did we really need to get flashbacks from Kakashi's Gaiden. We know the story, just give us a 3-4 pages as flashback, not 10 pages dedicated to rereading Gaiden. But the real kicker to this "complex" villain is the death of a girl he had a crush on. Great! It seems every character in the manga seems to have started out as a innocent child who had a semi-terrible childhood. I understand the idea behind it, but the fact that all the main villains use this excuse except two makes it just a tad bit overused. Only part I liked was arrival of Madara in DBZ style. Where is the old running speed? I guess people just appear when they need to :/ |

A pretty decent chapter almost ruined by the flashbacks we've seen millions of times before, what a waste of space Kishimoto, is that how you plan to drag even more the story? It sucks, really. The buzz of the chapter is Madara appearing at the end, I wasn't expecting that so soon, so this means that the Kages were beaten, maybe Oonoki was killed back there, who knows, I want to see what happened to them, I just hope in the anime we get to see the full fight. So... Obito's hatred started with the death of Rin,is not even surprising, on the contrary, it's hell dissapointing. Madara knows Obito, we will need more explanations next chapter !! 6/10 Because Madara appears at the end, which means this fight will get finally cool :) Edited by Rikudo-Sennin, Sep 5 2012, 08:23 AM.

Thanks. Ok back to the chapter... I'm curious to see what Sasuke and Orichimaru are up to, and as for Orochimaru - will he wait for everyone to die and reclaim his crown as the villain, or just get killed by Sasuke again when he's done with him? |

It depresses me that most of the villains in a series where the main characters are supposed to be trained and grown to be emotionless, or at least less emotional, killers and warriors, are all bent on getting revenge for a fallen comrade or loved one. I understand that a loved one being taken away can ruin everything but to create multiple villains this way, who in turn create even more plans to destroy the world because of a long lasting hate is just illogical. |

First of lol at 10s. Second really kishi. Really! So we get half a chapter really cos the other half was dedicated to gaiden. Let's look at what happened: Confirmed Madara knows obito - Duh we have brains kishi we had figured that out Obito may or may not have died- again we had guessed that it wasn't straight forward at least we hope it wasn't straight forward, like he escaped magically or madara just happened to be there when he got crushed to save him cos that would be way too convenient. Madara appears at the battle all DBZ- First of the massive crater was not necessary cos it made it seem like he jumped from the kage fight to current location- hulk smash. He did not tell us what happened to the kages. The big bomb shell....so obito why did you turn all evil did madara corrupt you in some way?... respone: Na he let rin die.... really? yh one person died so now the whole world must pay. Very disappointing chapter. Not much happened and what little did happen left more questions than answers. Might have been worse than last week i'm undecided. +/- 5 chapters until Sasuke joins and the Uchiha threesome runs wild? 2 Tobi theory is looking the best. How come no one thought of it BEFORE Tobi took a rasengan to the face? The next chapters need to have nothing but Tobi and Madara dialogue...I don't care for anything else right about now |

So it was over a woman. Great...and Obito was trained my Madara(had to have been trained)...and other than that flashbacks galore. With Madara showing up, this is going to drag out a rediculously long time. This chapter was a 5/10 for me. And I have a feeling that that this is where it will be for the next 5 or 6 chapters to come. Unless there is some huge reveal...or something i'm missing. Kakashi forced to face his past and move on is the only thing that makes this stint worthwhile. If Kakashi dies however...i'll be pissed. |

Has Kishi gone on a long holiday somewhere and has let some other idiot on charge of writing/directing the last few chapter!?!?! All this time TObito has been killing people gathering jins and started a world war was just because "a girl he fancied died" ... That's the reason!?! And I assume she must of died in a WAR....! |

Yeah, it a big let down. I didn't mind if it was Tobi as long as it wasn't because of Jealously, or Love. I'm just curious right now about why Kakashi had the face. Surely if Tobi is Obito, Kakashi should have known that he knew Rin died. Unless of course, Kakashi is a way let her die that would piss off Obito like leaving her behind.. |

Like "ROKU" said in another thread ... What Kishi has just done is made Kakashi the catalyst that caused all the problems in this manga!!! Jeeeeeheeeeez!!! Im disappointed by the 600 Chapter I was expecting something huuuge a big revelation ... We got 10 pages of recycled manga!! |
