Just kind of there. More looking forward to next week and the apparent filler.

I was hoping for something better, but what I watched was enough I guess. Not liking the whole Zetsu trap for next week, but I guess it has to happen in order to move on to better things.

I liked this one much better then last weeks. I thought the animation was decent, and I liked how it seemed that Sakura's stalker was the supposed killer but was actually Neji, lol. Good to see Sakura do something for a change and also white zetsu having an ulterior motive besides just fighting. Using infiltration by copying a chakra signature and not being detected is pretty interesting. Also funny how the real Neji was yelling at Akamaru instead of Kiba, lol. I'll give this one an 8/10.

I find it surprising that Hong Rong did a much better job in heading the animation this time than in that stiff-looking Mifune vs. Hanzou episode. Maybe there were different key animators involved? Whatever the case, I liked it - nice use of colors and that nighttime glow effect, on-model artwork, surprisingly good animation, fitting music placement and beautiful night scenery that we usually don't see in such a predominantly daytime story. Zetsu Neji's evil smirk was also a nice plus.

The suspenseful, horror-flick-inspired story themes in this episode offered a different but refreshing change of pace for the series and was executed exceptionally well; turns out the creeper was just a socially awkward guy with a crush and the murderer was a fabricated Neji. What I liked even more than that though was how additionally suspenseful the not-so-emphasized scenes were, like how the dialogue between Itachi and Nagato or Shikaku's nervousness provided more subtle ominous tones for the war. Essentially, the arc's entire theme has changed into a more subdued and dangerous one in its night phase. I can dig it.

With the exception of last week, Pierrot is doing this arc justice. The only grating thing about this episode was my having to continuously witness Sakura's mindless infatuation over a guy who clearly wants nothing to do with her and in fact tried to kill her. I know she's only 16, but that's just unhealthy.

Filler with potential... I really hope they will be good! This episode was pretty good, in my opinion.

This has to be the worst episode we had in the past couple of episodes. The only thing I liked about it was the appearance of Itachi and Nagato. The whole "mystery" plot was somewhat ametaurish and the "pigs can't do handsigns" sounds like a Scooby-Doo clue. This entire episode looked -much- better in the manga. But, I guess Sakura has to look useful during some times this war, even though if it would sacrifice Neji's humility.

This episode had a dark and ominous feeling to it. It was almost like watching a horror movie mixed in with a bit of mystery. Even the scenes with Itachi and Nagato gave off a chilling effect and all they were doing was talking to one another. White Zetsu's abilities are indeed very useful. Killing off the medical team members of your enemy and creating distrust within the alliance is a smart strategy.

My only grip with this episode was Sakura admitting she's still in love with Sasuke. The guy tried to kill her on more than one occasion but I guess that doesn't matter. Her blindness when it comes to Sasuke is just as bad as Naruto. Other than that I thought everything else was put together nicely.

Episode gets an 8.

More filler with Itachi would be awesome but unlikely.

Commenting a whole episode behind, but other priorities have me a little behind on some anime.

Well, aside from one or two fumbles, this was a good episode.

White Zetsu are disguising themselves as Alliance soldiers and picking people off. It certainly gives credence to Tobi's tactics and how he planned to see to his ends, even without the Edo Tensei.

Their own strategy is rather efficient as well. You kill the healers, you take away the other side's only means of being treated for their wounds. In the end, making their chances all the more worse.

Sakura tricking a disguised Zetsu [rather awesomely, I might add], pounding it, and getting this vital information to HQ is probably her greatest contribution to this war outside of tending to wounded Shinobi.

My favorite part.

So now Shikaku must think of a way to combat this new threat that can fool even sensors and is picking soldiers off at their most vulnerable.

The episode gets a 9 overall.
