This has been the sort of thing I've been looking forward to. The origin of Zetsu's power, Obito's mask, and soon, the reason he's done all he's done (and what happened to Rin.) Great chapter, looking forward to the next. |

Confirmation on Zetsu was a plus. That's nice. Hoping that this Zetsu has some type of emotion amplifier that will aid in Obito's mind being controlled by Madara to some level. |

@toadsage What info are you referring to?? It's interesting to me how Obito seemed to have such resentment towards Kakashi when it came to Rin, but nonetheless he always thought of being there for them both. I'm interested to know what the difference between the zetsus and his own zetsu body. Why is his not as strong as the other zetsu bodies if they all came out of the Mazo. I'm also interested in knowing what exactly Madara is doing. If he's being fed from the Mazo, why does he need to rest? Shouldn't he not need rest, food or the need to poo!!? :lol: Anyway good chapter |

loved the chapter. we see obito with long hair, the swirly zetsu is goofy, much like tobi acted (or didn't act) when with deidara. The zetsu also confirmed that madara ordered them to bring obito there so it wasn't just by chance that showed up in his underground lair. @badkent-how do we know his body isn't as strong as the other zetsu?? they cant break the rock either, the just slip through the earth. Overall no complaints with the chapter we get some clear answers as to how obito grew in a short space of time and possibly how his mind changed, possibly wearing the zetsu affected his mind the same way a fungus can. Two things is madara asleep the whole time he is training etc? Also if Obito goes to what i presume is the sight of rin's death surely he is to blame also. Zetsu's trying to be funny was not funny. All in all good chapter we get answers which is what most of us wanted. @banks- Obito was larady at his doorstep when madara asked the zetsus to bring him in. So he still just happened to drop into his lap. |

I'm assuming because Zetsu said, " you can't destroy a rock with that body yet..." Key word here is YET. Which tells me Obito's Zetsu body will become stronger as he continues to train. So I'm assuming Zetsu's body is stronger than Obito's at the moment being that they've been there presumably for a very long time. |

Really could have done without the poop jokes, but I enjoyed seeing Obito's interaction with the Zetsus. Well, while seeing Obito slowly recuperate was nice, still can't wait to see exactly how Obito develops the skills showcased as Tobi. Will be interesting to see if this situation with Rin is a set-up by Zetsu/Madara or if it's merely bad luck. Good chapter. |

Loved the goofy banter. So Mezo is the source of the white Zetsu. Wonder how that worked out. Is Madar asleep or dead (joke)? @Banks- Here,here....wondering on Black Zetsu ma-self. Should be interesting. Zetsu can absorb and mimic a nin's chakra and jutsu's (Kisami). Is this possibly what might happen to Obito while wearing Spiral Zetsu's body (Eeesh! that sounds Silence of the Lambish)? |

If the white Zetsu are coming from the Mazo, then black Zetsu also comes from the Mazo. My guess is that black Zetsu came to be from negative energy that Madara was giving off while hooked up to the Mazo or something along those lines. |

What's also interesting is that there are 3 White Zetsus. I wonder when and how Black came in. This chapter also clarifies Tobi's evasive maneuvers. So was it the Zetsu(s) who took Obito, or did Obito "slip?" I thought the part where Obito was staring at Rin's picture was hilarious, by the way. |

i counted 4 zetsus on one of the pages. still too early to say madara did not train him. All he was doing was getting accustomed to the new body more rehab than anything, its not like those press ups etc have made him a better ninja. Certainly does not account for his jump in skill level, although having the zetsu has a body would have improved his level.

Hi everyone. I've been coming here for about 6 months now. Everytime the new chapter is released, I come here to read everyones thoughts, opinions and predictions but this is my first time actually posting. I'm curious... Has anyone thought/mentioned that maybe the Spiral Zetsu joins/fuses with Obito giving him another personality? Which is the goofy Tobi we used to see? It just seemed like something possible that might make sense in certain ways. Thoughts? |

First poo joke was funny-ish... second one wasn't by the third time I thought it was a bit sh*t! So is Obito still in Swirly Zetsu's body!? ... hmmm 6.5/10 So it seems Obito's mind has been infected much like a Parasite takes over his host when Swirly-Zetsu takes over his body... Ah, I really felt happy during this chapter. I had an "aw" moment with that panel where the Zetsu's were cheering Obito on as he was gaining back his strength. ^^ Obito cherishes that photograph and I liked that, as it brought me back to when Naruto would look at his team pic. Minato... What I wonder: Kakashi is a good ninja, I wonder who he is facing that he couldn't save Rin. Which leads me to my next question...as I'm not sure if I missed the answer... Did we find out previously how Obito activated his MS? Lastly, not far back someone mentioned on this forum that Obito when injured by the 4th during the attack on Konoha had goo fall from his left arm, though it is Obito's right side that received treatment originally. Im one of the one who doesnt think obito really jumped alot in skill when fighting the 4th. I know on the last discussion you mentioned that tobi's fight with the 4th was downplayed but he never did special really happened. he got through the barriers by using his kamui, im sure the barriers cant detect if hes in another dimension. all he used during that fight was phase in and out and send the kyuubi on a rampage. he didnt controll it like madara did when fighting the 1st. i think all tobi did was master his sharingan that has and extraordinary power with knowledge from madara. |

Ok Quick Question. How do we know old madara didnt use the zetsu "suit" to fight the 4th hokage. Becuz i dont think Obito could have been powerful enough to summon the fox in that battle at all. He used some very a rank moves if you can recall |

That's pretty much what I said last week, and everyone disagreed. Yes, Tobito improved, but from what was displayed, he wasn't in the same league as Minato. If so, the fight would've been much more intense.
True. I just haven't had an "I called it" moment in a while.
Aside from summoning Kyuubi, what A-rank techs are you referring to? The only reason I DON'T believe it was really Madara, is because the masked man phased. The hair matches up, as well as the "kamui." Seems like Obito. I believe if it was a Madara/Zetsu, the match would've turned out much differently. What Daniel says, below me, also makes sense.
