Oh, that Kishi. Making us thinking he was losing his touch and just throwing up plotholes and randoms sub plots but everything makes sense now! I never lost my faith in the reclusive artist. I loved this chapter. |

Obito really loved Rin. He could care less the reason why Kakashi killed her but Madara must have known about what was going to happen or set it up so it would happen. I don't know but Madara teaching him all the Uchiha forbidden techniques and Sage of Six Paths forbidden techniques is quite an enhancement of power. The white goo coming out of Obito's arm during the fight with 4th makes sense now from the last few weeks of flashbacks. Obito has a super suit on and is fully aware on how to use it...it will be interesting to hear Kakashi side of the story. Obito left Kakashi alive the same reason Sasuke left Naruto alive at the Valley....so he can fight his greatest rival again. (Put Obito wants to mentally torture Kakashi) Sasuke has the Neji chunin exam complex that Naruto isn't his equal or thinks he can't fathom what he is going through mentally. :ph43r: Great Chapter....keep them coming Kishi 9.5 out of 10 Edited by Akamu7879, Oct 17 2012, 08:11 AM.

I'm not entirely sure what "will" is? It's definitely not just chakra, because (the) Zetsu had absorbed people's chakra, changed shape, and still retained his personality. Someone's "will" appears to be their soul. Therefore, I'm guessing Madara was infecting half of Zetsu with a piece of his soul, like Orochimaru did with his curse seal. What are peoples' thoughts on the black rods? Madara said they were his will in physical form. Those black poles were used to control the six paths of pain, so they reanimate bodies, and they are used to link someone (i.e., Nagato) to the Gedo Mazo. Therefore, they must be some parasitic "will" that takes your personality -- for example, when Obito controlled the Jinchuriki against their "will" -- and also doubles as a data transfer medium. I have to get me some of these will rods. |

HA I KNEW IT!! that Madara gave Nagato his Rinnegan :3 anyway I'm just confused on how Madara got to Nagato before he died... but overall very good chapter just wish they were longer & can't wait to finally get to Sasuke & him saying who 'them' is gosh we're getting so close to the end |

Before I say anything...10/10...I would give it 11/10 if I could...finally the majority of the puzzle fits together. (Once more the Uchiha's shall rule the galax--shinobi world...and...we...shall have...peace...) Loved the explanations that were given. I thought it was pretty awesome that Madara knows how to split his will and his eyes like the SOSP did to his sons. Naruto is half Senju(confirmed). We knew the Uzumakis were relatives but they are Senju. I now understand why when Naruto countered Obito why he was shocked b/c he knew-knows what Naruto is capable of. Being Senju and Bijuu Host just gives him an insurmountable amount of potential. As for black Zetsu...he's basically Madara, but a weak weak version of him. I don't understand the whole black hole deal...but i'm not gonna question anything else. We've been waiting for explanations and this chapter was great for that. |

Let me first start off by saying I loved that some questions were completely answered, i.e. Nagato's eyes, when Madara got it, what the Gedo statue is, etc... Am I the only one who still thinks Obito is a big plot hole though? He's willing to do all this for a girl he had a crush on, kill everyone else but not kill the person who killed her, kill his own family and clan, etc... This issue will be the last time I bring this up b/c I love this manga but I'm just scratching my head at it waiting for more than just Rin's death to get Obito to this level of madness. |

Awesome. I find the history of naruto really interesting, especially when it answers a few questions and fills in gaps. Still , I want to know who controlled the Village of the mist kage, prob Tobi since he is being taught some high level jutsus. |

I agree with Colors...I'm sure there has to be another reason why Tobito is doing all this stuff other then Rin getting annihilated by his best friend about black Zetsu of what I think is just Madara's 'will' and chakra combined don't really know what the 'rod pole things' are all about though but I love this chapt can't wait for the next one keep is up Kishi |

I'm glad to hear Black Zetsu is M's will. I figured that was the only way to make sense of him. The chapter was good, but I would like the pacing of this story to move along. The pace has slowed down and we're still not where we want to be (kakashi telling us why he killed Rin). At the pace we're moving along, I would say another two chapters before we get close to any real answer. Some of the obvious things were revealed. Gego is actually the TT and in order to use or control it somewhat you need half Senju and Uchia. Although we knew the rinnigan was Madara's it was cool to find out he acquired it just as he was dying. C'mon Kishi, lets get this story moving! @AburameSenpai: I would imagine that just like Orochimaru had his spirit split into his curse seals, Madara's spirit/will has also been split. |

It makes sense at this point. It doesn't matter if he kills everybody in this world, because within the Mugen Tsukuyomi they will all be alive. As for it being a crush, well, it seems to go way beyond that. He genuinely loves her. |

well Kakashi used the powers Obito gave him to kill Rin, whom he loved. So it wasn't just about Rin. He left Kakashi alive just like how Sasuke left Naruto alive back at that valley, to get revenge on him in a battle later. |

What is love? baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me...no more!!! obito just has a major crush on her and genuinely blames kakashi for this his failure. i have no idea as to why he would want kakashi into dreamland. Obito seriously needs to grow up. as for gedo mazou did not expect it to be a shell of the juubi. Well will/spirit of madara still incorporates some form of charka (charka is an extension of using willpower to a physical form). it is similar to the formation of the curse seal infecting the body. or do i need to reference orochimaru influence over kabuto? kabuto used his will to form sage mode. it was still orochimaru charka. |

Ok, he genuinely loves her but doesn't avenge her death when he has the chance? He doesn't convince Nagato to bring her back with the Rinnegan, he doesn't try to bring her back when he has the Rinnegan. I get it, I understand the infinite genjutsu is going to make everything better, but to leave all of your other family and friends, killing your family and friends, for this sole purpose so you can be lost in a dream with your teenage love interest? Nagato's, Sasuke's, Naruto's, Madara's, Itachi's among others makes more sense to go from cheerful character to "I want to in slave the world", and do anything to make that happen... Just my humble opinion... |

10/10 Zetsu is a fully created being. Hashirama and Madara's offspring. News on the tentails and even Nagato is thrown in there. Seems like Obito still loves Kakashi as well. Nice chapter. |

That's a good point. He prob just wants to meet Kakashi again and show him how he's changed. But then again, Kakashi was already unconcious so why would you attack someone who could already be left for dead. Also, as time goes by, the pain that you feel for a loved one does weaken to the point you become almost your self again, so why keep going? He must really believe in that plan and have respect for Madara, because when you first hear it, it sounds like a silly plan that you would accept if you were going through the death of a loved one. |

I highly doubt Obito wants any form of revenge against Kakashi. Even in their current fight, Kakashi just happened to show up. Nothing was premeditated, because as he said, he just doesn't care. Obito never even intended for his mask to come off - he was intent on remaining a "nobody" in the real world. At that point Kakashi became an obstacle, so killing him became an option. He has no need to hold grudges or worry about who he kills - none of it will matter in the dream world. Obito's always hated war and conflict, so the dream world presents an opportunity for him to be with everybody he cares about, no questions asked. It is really no different from what Kisame sought, though whether he knew it would be the product of a genjutsu or not is up in the air. |
