This is not what i was expecting after such a long break. So Naruto is now passing out free chakra. It seems that Madara is not amused by the plan that is being executed. It's like he knew this was going to happen. I was hoping for more development with Sasuke and Orochimaru. I have a feeling they're meeting the SOSP, only because everyone else seems to be able to feel the chakra around them. I hope the next chapter has more of the mystery character that Sasuke wanted to meet. |

Was excited to see Sasuke and gang in Konoha and was wondering what they were gonna do, then it cut back to the war. Gotta say, the plan was predictable but not really impressive tactically. Still, nice to see Shikamaru and Ino get a little more development. Shame the ending was wasted with more talking. Alright chapter. |

Been a while since I voted. lol A couple of pages of Sasuke and the others in the Leaf. An interesting plan Shikaku and Inoichi had hatched. Indeed, why not make use of that almost infinite chakra? It doesn't break any real in-universe boundaries and it's a reasonable way for the exhausted Alliance to put up against the only creature stronger than both Gyuki and Kurama. Nice to see closure from those who have recently experienced loss and Naruto's words about enduring. |

Suprised that Tenten didn't break down like Lee did. Pretty much kills the NejixTenten fandom. =/ Other than that and Hinata randomly learning Neji's Air Palm, I say this was a pretty good chapter. 9/10 Edit:Also, where the hell is Sakura in all of this? ^Hinata's already demonstrated that she could do that earlier in the war. And she arguably used something more advanced than that a few arcs ago. On the second topic, patience is the only real answer. Just because Kishimoto is not cramming every single character in every panel in every chapter, it does not mean it's not going to happen. She'll get her moment, just as the others will. Kishimoto mentioned that the characters would be getting shining moments....it's simply not time yet. And yeah...let's ignore the facts (such as doing her actual job quite frequently to very good effect), previous establishments, etc. and judge things by trivial matters like screentime. Useless really is a butchered word that has lost all semblance of meaning in fandom. <_< |

If I may ask, why does anyone expect something different just because of a break? These past two weren't the 'take a week to work on the material' breaks mangaka will sometimes take, they were a special holiday break where the mangaka probably weren't drawing at all. Also, mangaka tend to be a few chapters ahead of the publishing, so this likely wasn't the last chapter being worked on anyway. |

. . . really? Her not breaking down sinks the ship and kills the fandom? His whole . . . you know . . . being 'no more' . . . except in people's hearts . . . that didn't do it? Well to each his own. If it helps you can just imagine she was still in shock. As for the chapter, honestly at first I sighed in resignation seeing Sasuke because, while I despise him I felt it really was time to catch up to him . . . but I was a bit disinterested, thinking "Great, umpteen chapters of this guy before we find out what happens with Naruto and the others" then I turned the page the scene swapped and I was all like "Aha, I've been trolled . . . well played sir." On the whole I thought it was really pretty good, I enjoyed seeing Shikamaru and Ino get some time to deal with their losses, and to see that Neji's death isn't just going to be a "he died a hero . . . now forget him" moment, that we might get to see how Lee and maybe even Tenten and Gai deal with that too. It may irritate people who care more about, shall we say, the bigger picture, but I stopped giving half a whit about the actual war ages ago, the characters are my only reason for reading, so I enjoyed it. |

Yeah I understand she has her medical duties to tend to, but the thing is she hasn't really done anything significant throughout the entire war arc aside from her healing hut duties(on which any generic medical ninja could do). Tsunade said multiple times that Sakura is a prodigy medical healer. Perhaps give her some on-field work where it actually matters or something, because healing a bunch of generic ninja is useless since we seen them die multiple times. Pretty much every other major character(except Shino) and some minor characters have done much more significant things than her. It's hard to believe she used to be on the same team as Naruto and Sasuke sometimes. |

Spoiler: click to toggle I get that. I myself would like to see an awesome moment too, given the potential for her super strength Taijutsu. That said, though, I just don't think she should be begrudged for following guidelines and job description (Plus, healers can arguably be seen as more important units than fighters because of what they do. She is why Kakashi is in full condition again, for example). Besides that, she's not exactly the only neglected character here. Up till now, Team 10 has been getting the most spotlight of all the rookies. Besides, she did manage one important thing earlier on that required her super strength and gave the good guys some pretty vital intel....but I digress. |

Yeah, but I didn't really expect her to break down and I understand Tenten is a lot more mentally stable than Hinata, but in a heated battle in the midst of war and you see a very close comrade just die out like that then someone would have at least some emotional blacklash. |

I agree, but at the same time remember they're ninja. They've been professional mercenaries since a tragically young age they've probably been conditioned to deal with loss in battle and during the war in particular it's entirely possible that they've lost a lot of friends right off panel. It makes sense to me that in such a situation Tenten would just resort to that emotional conditioning and training similar to how they say soldiers in the American Civil War fought battles "on autopilot" because they just couldn't deal with what was actually happening around them. We might see a stronger reaction from her later. |

So I heard something interesting. That the people that Sasuke and Orochimaru are going to talk to are the Hokages or at least the first and 2nd hokage. Could it be that orochimaru found a way to unseal the kages? I mean it seems that Orochimaru knew more than we thought. Also that panel of Kage MT at the beginning of the chapter could be a foreshadow. Or maybe the people they are going to see are the elders, or they going to revive the entire uchiha clan. Who knows., I enjoyed the chapter. It was fun and it somewhat confirms the death of Shikaku and co. Also I hope Madara stops talking about how everything is going as plan and starts fighting. |

This chapter was OK. I can't even lie, I'm with some others expecting more...I guess I built it up in my head to being a new year...we understand what's at stake here...keeping your friends alive inside you...yada yada yada... I'm not a Emo Uchiha fan, but I have to admit when I saw Sasuke I thought, "Finally, we are making progress!!" turn page... "noooooooo" It was cool seeing Naruto/Kurama hand out chakra...awesome strategy...Hinata's power using that Chakra...cool...Chouji, Ino, Shika...well, Madara said it all (predictable...he looks bored btw) and then another long speech of keeping our friends inside us...I get it! I get it! Neji died, so have countless other unnamed shinobi...let's keep this thing moving! Again i probably expected way to much outta this chapter. |

I'm thinking they're going to go see Homura and Koharu. I don't really understand why Sasuke would need Orochimaru for them, though. By the way, what was that long tube-like thing going from the bottom of the Ten Tails and traveling up and over its left shoulder to the bulb on its back? I don't remember it being there before. And is it just me, or is its legs now one giant snake-like body? Did it get squashed from the ground/mountain closing on it, or is it already transforming? It looks different than before. |

I figured Kishimoto would be chillin' during the break. Good for him. Dug the chapter. Madara is just too pimpin for me. Nothing phases this guy. it's like he's watching ants trying to move him. LOL. And Sasuke's just getting more and more pissed at naruto's "radiance" or whatever they where feeling in the village......thats rich..LOL. More screen time for Ino,Shika,Cho. And Lee sobbibg at the lost of his best sparing partner. |

Enjoyable chapter, glad we're back to the regular schedule. Transfering of chakra is nothing new and cool to see Naruto giving it to everyone to attack the ten tails with. Nice seeing Sasuke and co again, and very interesting they are in Konoha, could be the elders they are searching for. Hopefully next week it amps up a little more, I'll give it an 8/10. |

For a second, i thought INO was going to use Obito "return the dead justu" and that will piss off Madara bringing him to the battle field. With these super ninjas now, i think they have a great chance vs. Madara. Just a matter of how long the justu will last for. |

Decent chapter to get after the break. How much of Konoha has already been rebuilt? That was pretty fast. Also, I know most of the shinobi are at war, but wouldn't there be some security around Konoha since Sasuke and Orochimaru are still wanted criminals. Nice to see Lee's reaction to Neji's death. 7/10 |
