why do they give the mizukage filler when his fight were the longest in the manga? and seriously the kazekage and tsuchikage fights are useless, disappointing and sad. both goes down after 10 seconds....way to go...kage name is not worth much |

I enjoy this/these fight immensly because its adds development to Gaara's character - and its as if Gaara becomes full circle as he was loved by his mother and his relationship with his father develops as well and his father realises his mistakes. Also - I believe that Muu /the second Tsuchikage was the last revived kage to actually be "defeated". I enjoy the Mizukage although I agree the filler this fight is tad pointless, but it was still funny too me. At this point i'm just glad we're back to "cannon" episodes and to the actual story. I have and are looking forward to how well this war will be animated. And I enjoy it very much. The animation this and last week has been improved a bit, I feel. 7/10 |

Good not great episode. It was funny at first with the exchange between the Mizukage and the shinobi. After a while though it started to get tiresome. Naruto made a great entrance hitting Mu with his planetary rasengan. Good animation this week, with a little wasted filler. 8/10 |

It was like an MMORPG. Theres a few elite players and the rest are cannon fodder mindlesly grinding xp. Over all i enjoyed the whimsy and playfullness of the episode. 7/10 |

I didn't think this episode was as good as the last few. First of all I agree with the notion that the Chuunin level ninja were made to look like complete fools. I couldn't stand the part where they were all saying "We don't get it!" and the multiple times they had to retrieve their weapons after failed attacks on the Second Mizukage. With that said I did think the Second Mizukage's humor was a big positive. I still feel that he rivals Hidan in that department. The way Naruto defeated Muu was a cool moment. I also liked how Gaara and Oonoki teamed up to take out the second Mizukage's giant clam, thus ending his Genjutsu. Episode gets a 7. |

After the past couple of episodes with subpar visuals (and before that, episodes with so-so visuals) the one thing I can appreciate is Pierrot's willingness to finally use a good animation team for a canon episode. Unfortunately, the entire showing is filled with half-baked attempts at comedy which - rather than actually being funny - were painful to watch because the Chuunin were so idiotic and incompetent. This is something I'd expect to see from a Genin, not from the same alliance members who have proven themselves to be at least somewhat useful in the other recent episodes. Also, I'm disappointed that Muu was taken out too easily for someone of his caliber. Not as entertaining as I'd hoped. Aesthetic Rating: 4/5 Story Rating: 2/5 Overall Score: 6/10 |
