This chapter....deserves a 15/10...Awesome, pure awesome. Madara using Susanoo on Kurama?!?! Jiraya has consistently been my #1 on the list of Naruto, but I believe Hashirama has taken that spot, this guy OMG. It actually explains so much...why Madara is bored fighting the Kages, Naruto and Co. I mean, when you have the 1st going Sage mode on him summoning a freaking massive Peacock-Hands wood style jutsu crap(lmao) no wonder they're like insects to him! This makes the present-day Kages look like a joke...Its funny to me that while fighting in the present Madara is cool, calm and collective...but while fighting Hashirama, he was all worked up, b/c of Hashirama's power. I believe this is a flashback I actually will very much enjoy. |

The fact that Hashirama can go Sage on top of having such power is just crazy. I found it funny that Madara is talking smack about him being on top and then Hashirama brings out this Peacock looking statue that way over shadows Madara and Kurama. I found it interesting that Hashirama pulled out the Gojuu Rashoumon to deflect Madara's attack. It makes me wonder if Orochimaru studied that move from a scroll or while studying Hashirama's DNA. I'm not understanding how Madara and Hashirama met each other as kids. I thought the Senju and Uchia were rivals from the start, how is it that these two were able to just casually meet? Overall great fight sequence, can't wait to see the rest. |

I love this chapter. However, I question the chapter in terms of what we have been told several times, that Uchiha and Senju are at war. My interpretation was that the two clans resent each other... Hmm this flashback within a flashback is a bit... out of context, though we'll see... |

It was fascinating to see Madara generate his Susanoo over the Kyuubi and Hashirama creating some thousand-handed sage. What was more fascinating though was Madara confirming this was not their first fight to the death. It was a nice touch to show off their final battle before going back to their beginning, then simply going straight back like I first wanted. Great chapter. |

20/10 WTF!!!!! When the 1st Hokage went Sage Mode I almost s*** my pants. EPIC!!! And I dont even think it was Frog Sage Mode either which is even more Epic(his on sage mode ) He is Truly "The God of All Shinobi" I only have 1 Question....."How the hell can Naruto vs Sasuke Rematch top Hashirama vs Madara?" And I'll anwser that by saying, In (my opinion) The ONLY WAY ,And I repeat The ONLY WAY they can or Kishi can top that is if Kishi plugs in a Timeskip, And Naruto and Sasuke have time to up their jutsu. B/c as they stand now we would be looking at a Complete Kyuubi Mode/Bijuu Bomb and a variety of Rasengans vs EMS /Sa'sunoo w/ Ameturastu Arrows which in comparison to Hashirama vs Madara and with all the build up and suspense for there rematch would be an Epic Fail/Let down. Whats ya'll thoughts on this? But there was 1 let down in this chap. And thats the fact tha Kishi has the 1st and madara me as kid first and become friends/rivals. *And Contra to popular belief, The Senju and Uchiha were not born enemies, they were not even considered the top clans until Hashirama and Madada got older and became Leader of their respective clans. these hashirama chapters are gonna be my favs for a long time. i cant believe madara put the tengu form of susano'o on the 9 tails lol. madara's ems is probably similar to sasuke's since they both have mastery of one power of EMS. and hashirama is a sage O_O i wonder what madara will pull out next. i love this chapter. |

i bet you its gonna be a sort of "parents hating each other type of thing" madara and hashirama try to change it. But hashirama's parents probably kill madara's, and now he hates all senju. probably something like that. overall epic chapter. genius using susanoo like that. and holy hell that hand statue was huge! |

This chapter OMG!!! So Epic, it's like a 20/10!!! *Madara using Susano'o as an armor for the Kyubi was awesome. *Hashirama countering the Bijuu Ball with a Gojuu Rashoumon looked great. *Hashirama entering Sage Mode after displaying such amount of power was just sick... now we are really seeing how powerful he was, and Kishi it's doing a great job with it, let's keep going!! But at the end, we got a flashback... inside the flashback, ok, it wasn't so bad. But this Hashirama vs. Madara it's on a whole other level, now I don't have any doubts as why Madara was bored fighting the Kages, Hashirama it's really broken. And this fight seems to point out, that Naruto and Sasuke will unite forces to beat Madara, so, in the end, Madara will turn out to be the final antagonist of the series? Just an Edo Tensei? Mmmm, I hope not. |

Chapter 398&399 disagrees. The Uchiha Clan and the Senju clan were considered the strongest clans when war was a term of survival if one country would hire the Uchiha the other would hire the Senju... They were rivals - and I believe this to be before Hashirama and Madara, however that's a bit unclear. But that is how I interpret it. |

Well, technically the Senju and Uchiha only fought each other when opposite feudal lords or whatnot hired them. That is to say, they were always hired to fight one another because of their reputations. However, while they were probably hostile towards each other outside of war, I doubt that they were at each other's throats. Or at least not as much. |

^ Well going by Madara's words towards Tsunade and his argument for going after a senju first, and Tobirama's words towards Sasuke it doesn't seem like its two clans with a lot affection and love between them... And going by Tobi's words to Sasuke it seems a little odd how a child from each clan is able to meet other.... however we will find out next week, by the looks of it. |

Good chapter. I like how different the fight between Hashirama and Madara is in comparison to the game clip from Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. Kishi's been on a roll these past few weeks. 10/10 |

Although this was some awesomeness....it was just too short of a read. I wish these were 30 page chapters but I know MSJ won't be making those type of changes to their line up. I could still wish (beside, this is the final arc anyways). Overall, I did enjoy to exchange between Hashirama and Madara. Some sick jutsus and clever thinking. I'm sure it would highlight some important info but not to particular on the flash back's flash back. However, I'm sure I'll be tuned in next week...... |

NOT original yawn Also we were always led to believe hashi was strong by himself instead he was a sage this also makes 4 good sages so far. Seems like it is the default powerup against uchiha. So far i fail to see anything great about the chapter. Besides the bijuu susanoo combo |

I think you guys are looking at Sage mode wrong. What if its not "Sage" mode as we know it. I think it is more "Monk" mode. Like the 12 temple guardians from the beginning of the time skip. Remember Asuma and that top monk had that jutsu with the guardian with multiple hands? That is probably just a derivative of Hashirama's all-powerful million hand jutsu |

The uchiha is strong ny themselves. Currently 2 of them are fighting the whole world head on.. Besides needing their brother's eyes for ems look how powerful they become. Sasuke took the kages at the summit and did major damage. Tobirama feared for the world when he heard madara was there. Yes they use the bijuu but on their own they are formidable. Madara killed 5 kage without receiving a single blow. The point still remains we are seeing the same story with new characters |

I have to admit this chapter was pretty impressive. Hashirama was truly insane as a shinobi, I know I was wanting to see this battle for the longest time and the time has finally come. |
