Paperwork Kage Posts: 4,421 Group: Admin Member #6 Joined: August 17, 2004	Good episode, the extended "STTAALLLINNNGGG" thing for the last few minutes was lame, but otherwise good. Interesting that they're bringing back the Sounds Four/Five. Kimimaro hasn't really been featured that much either.

Genin Posts: 408 Group: Member Member #15,354 Joined: October 15, 2008	I agree with Shikamaru with the last part of the episode being dragged on, yet it was nice to know that they didn't cut Mangetsu out of the story just yet. As for the episode, the Mizukage attempting to test Gaara had made this battle more worth it and gave Gaara his chance to shine which was much deserved. Edited by BHM1250, Feb 28 2013, 01:54 PM.

Snake charmer Posts: 1,212 Group: Member Member #13,982 Joined: June 30, 2008	What was the deal with the last few minutes...? Such a waste of air time. Aside from that the episode was pretty good. I enjoyed how the Mizukage acknowledged Gaara and his tactics. I found it very funny how the Tsuchikage kept saying he wasn't old as he was being carried away. Also enjoyed the little smile Temari gave once he got taken away. Not sure if I want to see the sound nins going at it again.

Animation was good overall, especially when the Mizukages jokey boy was attacking Gaara, good stuff. Can't say I'm happy we're getting fillers, knowing what's around the corner, but the Sound 4 are pretty cool and Masayuki Kouda is animating it, and from the preview it looks pretty damn awesome. 8/10

I'm just wondering why next month's fillers will be about the Sound Four when we have confirmation Mangetsu and Fuguki are still out there, maybe others as well. <_<

Seriously, it feels like animators need to pull crap out of their asses in order to create fluid animation. No imagination to expand the canon like that?.. Excuse me my French.

Excuse me my French. Yeah, this blows my mind too. I really like what they did in the "Pain attacks Konoha" arc. They animated an additional part of the fight that was not part of the manga, and although some people hated that part, I enjoyed it because of how well-animated and exhilarating it was. I really abhor the filler stories, which makes sense, because the people working for the animation studio aren't very good writers. But, these people have proven to be creative with their interpretation of the fights, so I could go for that. Edited by elninjaloco, Mar 1 2013, 10:10 AM.

Here is the info on the episodes. Spoiler: click to toggle #303: Ghosts of the Past : Under the suspicion that White Zetsu could be within them, Shikamaru and the others take a short break. Meanwhile, the battle still goes on for Neji and Kiba. On this battered battlefield, unexpected enemies shows up. They are the ones that showed up during the Sasuke Rescue Mission. They tries to block Naruto's path as he catch up. They are The Four Sounds resurrected by Kabuto's Edo Tensei. They pushed Shikamaru, and even Neji to their limit. Why were they recurrected ? #304 : Yomi Tenshin no Jutsu The Sounds 4 are pushed around but they use a new jutsu named Yomi Tenshin no Jutsu a Kekkai Ninjutsu. Shikamaru and the others get their soul sealed. #305 : Revengers The Sounds 4 are defeated but the Kekkai Ninjutsu is still active. Trapped inside are Ino and Shino. Both their chakra are almost gone. #306 : Eye of the Heart. Neji is ambushed and cornered by White Zetsu who uses Neji's Byakugan Blind spot to his advantage. When things gets from bad to worse, Hinata saves him. Hinata remembes when Neji saved her when Sasuke was still at Konoha.

I agree, but I believe that Gaara's dad wasn't very powerful since he was easily killed by Orochimaru. Although that could be countered by the story being in it's beginning stages. As for the Sound Four filler and the "Yomi Tenshin Jutsu", it just sounds like an ass-pull combination jutsu like the one Frieza and Cell did in GT. Yet, Kishimoto hasn't made a dissapointing filler this entire war(at least in my opinion), so this should be good. Edited by BHM1250, Mar 1 2013, 08:44 PM.

It's a shame his fight against his father couldn't have been this hard fought. Anyway it was cool how Gaara was able to fight and protect his comrades at the same time. The strategy of hiding his father's Gold Dust inside of his very own Sand Clone, thus slowing The Second Mizukage's Steam Imp down was well thought out. Overall this episode was nicely done. I thought this it was a treat to see the Second Mizukage's Infinite Explosion animated. The upcoming filler material involving the Sound Four should be interesting. Chances are we'll be getting to see some rematches from part one. If that's the case we can see just how much some of the Konoha 12 has grown since then. Episode gets a 9.

Jounin Posts: 5,191 Group: Admin Member #6,640 Joined: February 12, 2007	Out of all the Edo Kage resurrected so far, the Mizukage is the liveliest character and has the coolest abilities: Steaming Danger Tyranny or "Joki Boy" is definitely one of the more interesting Ninjutsu techniques I've seen from the war arc thus far. This holds true for both sides since for the first time in Shippuuden, Gaara demonstrates a deeper, intricate level of strategy than what we're used to seeing from him. I find it interesting that Kabuto intends to summon the Sound Four in order to stall for time, but that's all they're really good for - aside from Kimimaro, they were never all that exceptional. I can't help but wonder how they'll manage to last against their own killers considering they probably haven't grown since their deaths. Aesthetic Rating: 4/5 Story Rating: 4/5 Overall Score: 8/10
